As per title, 12 months now seems like nothing. Scared my wife with the acceleration on the way home, scared myself on the motorway how quick it reaches 90-100. Otherwise all good and driving through our thin village isn’t nearly as bad as I was worried about.

apparently I was very lucky to miss the stop sale - 15 cars sat there today waiting.

so I'll be watching your video for the next 8 or so months pretending that's mine. as its pretty much identical to my order (including the side skirts!).. only that I've spec'd the 20" Turbo Aeros now contemplating the 21"!

love Ice Grey and the many shades you get out of it in different environments.

The side skirts were a last min addition just before locking in and I’m so glad I got them - probably my fav thing along with the wheels!

Dang I'm jealous of how classy and beautiful this reveal was. When I picked mine up it was dirty from being left out in the rain the night before and they hadn't washed it yet. I was quite displeased at purchasing a 6 figure car and seeing a filthy car at pickup.

I actually posted a less than ideal Yelp review of the experience and got a call the next day from the sales rep to apologize. Unlikely I'll buy from there again....but it was something at least.

Yeah, but not all of them. The reveal of my CPO Taycan was fantastic. Meticulously detailed and everything.

Just pointing out that nobody really knows which cars were stopped. I thought it was mid April first, then early May, then hear people with cars built early April were affected too.

At this point nobody knows for sure (except maybe Porsche itself)

dont think this affects our delays. my car is built and already in port. most people who are waiting already have built cars just sitting in port for "quality actions"

I should have expanded a bit. I’m speculating that this supplier had been in trouble, stopped delivering and P had to find a replacement. Perhaps the replacement parts were subpar, which would explain why only certain cars were detained. Good luck with your delivery.

FWIW I had to go back to the initial video to check what you meant!
Not something I ever notice, but lowering cars isn't much of a "thing" here.
