I just ignore open window status. It will also show up with the car connected from time to time. Things like this don't fill me with confidence in Porsche software. I bet some contractors slapped a bunch of open source software together, nobody really knows how it works, so nobody can actually fix it. It worked once during the demo to the executives I'm sure, or maybe the demo actually had an open window to show them how it would save the customer's car if left open in a rain, so to be sure the coded it to always show open windows when the car is not sure (including not connected). So, the Porsche app will show that all is well with all windows up and doors locked.
Then if you leave the location and lose connectivity to the car, the app nearly ALWAYS shows some problem like a window down or doors unlocked UNTIL it connects to the car again, at which point it will convert back to all is well with all windows up and doors locked.
Why? The car didn’t move and nothing was done to the car. Why wouldn’t it retain previous status (in this case, all is well) when it goes offline rather than display some trouble status that has never existed?
This used to stress me out until I figured out what was happening.
also, nonsensical over/under values for tire pressures on app is inexplicable.
