Anyone expecting a Carmine Red Taycan (I couldn’t see what one it was) from Cambridge? I’ve just seen it being tested with all its stickers on, on the A10 - looked the nuts!

Collected my GTS last Friday!!!
But had to hand it over to the PPF installer straightaway
Will have it finally this Friday...

Strangely the My Porsche account is showing that the progress of the car now gone back to stage 4 !!! It was in Stage 5. Does this mean they will deliver another car???

I finally collected my Taycan 4 CT yesterday... A long time coming having ordered on 10th Feb 2022 and collected it on 10th July 2023 ? Over 100 days since completion...

The first drive was incredible.... Will be testing it more this week.

Great to read that some of the cars held in Emden have started being shipped and good luck to anyone still on hold for the battery issue.

I'm sure I've driven past this a few times, very nice.

Well, I'm now at 90 days at port - still blocked. Its great to see many cars moving, but just soooooo annoying to just not have any idea when anything will turn up.
I'm now on my 5th estimated delivery date, with each one less belief that it will happen and no real idea whether I need to look at alternative options in short or long term.

I've truly considered cancelling over the past week but then realise that any other option is a) still 2-3 months away & b) not as desirable as a Porsche.

Sob story over for now - oh yeah, and Mr Weatherman says its going to rain for the next month. Lol!!

As you know I was in a similar position until recently. I took delivery of mine last week after around 11 weeks at Emden and both your points - a) and b) also stopped me from cancelling. It’s worth the wait so stick with it and hopefully it will be on the move very soon.

Hi,​

I heard from my dealer today, a lot of people expecting end of August deliveries and early September deliveries for the new registration (UK registration) could suffer slight delays.​

This is due to HGV drivers that work for Brit European, have gone on strike.​

My car is coming from Sheerness, so I’m not sure if it affects those expecting a car from Grimsby or not.​

Anyone due to collect their Taycan tomorrow only for it to be cancelled? Every Taycan at Porsche Glasgow has been put on a stop-sale apparently. Anyone been told anything noteworthy? Reasons etc?

My dealer has said production will be completed 2nd October, and that delivery could be beginning November.

Is that likely? have to decide when to send my current lease car back!

Sounds reasonable, mine was delivered to me in under 3 weeks from production being completed

…starting to watch this thread in earnest, my window of delivery is fast approaching….. mid Oct to beginning of Nov, even more excited that on delivery I can say goodbye to the ‘frugly’ model x
