MyPorsche - what does it mean when all controls are gone?

I noticed that my Porsche app removed all controls, no pre-heat/pre-cool, no remote unlock, etc. They car shows up, but even the car connection status is missing now. This has been an issue for the last 18 hours, at least that's when I noticed it when I wanted to pre-cool my car in scorching hear. Has anyone else noticed this, is this Porsche removing functionality, or is this just another example of Porsche software prowess?

Restarting the app did not change anything. The PCM in the car shows full strength LTE connection. The map in the app actually shows the car's location. I get notification from the car when air conditioning completes. Clicking Porsche Connect services in the app takes me to an error page:

And Porsche has the audacity to claim this service is worth $30 a month?

Thanks, at least I know it's not just my car. I've only had my Taycan since February, I must say they are not ready to sell a cloud subscription service. They either need to hire some better engineers, or just contract it out to a cloud company. There isn't even an error message in the app indicating that their service crapped out and engineers are on summer holidays so nobody is looking at it (18hrs so far, for any reputable cloud service, it would be back up by now, restart servers, revert any changes, whatever it takes to bring the service back up).

I just saw their desktop site error message trying to see subscription status, implying the poor customer got lost on the wild internet thing. Those poor senile customers, there there, we get lost sometimes too, let us help you with a helpful link to start over. Oh wait, after you clicked it you got lost again, maybe you just need a nap.

One thing Elon did right. All Tesla services were totally free (including DC charging) until they figured out how to make it reliable, then they turned it into subscriptions or pay per use. Making things subscriptions from the get go, having to authorize users, checking if they paid for the subscription, etc, is just more things which can fail. They are including 3 year subscription anyways, so who not just make it free for all Porsche cars until they learn how to do it reliably? No confidence they can make it reliable in 3 years time?

Me too, car can load data from Porsche servers, map update just installed and I can see the status of connected services in the car but App is not connected nor can OVO Charge Anytime connect.

Yep. MyAudi app is down for me too, however:

1. It was up 8 hrs ago, Porsche was down by then
2. It actually shows an error message, rather than what Porsche app does, ignore it silently

That you forgot to pay the Porsche Connect bill? Bad pun I know, and completely agree that $30/month is ridiculous. In my view the real audacity is to charge for basic safety-related functions such as lock and charging status.
