Don’t know if this is a new issue or not but I wanted to post in case it does happen to someone. Got in my car this morning and hit the highway and the AC was not blowing cold. Being that it was early morning, it was not too bad, but south Louisiana is not the place right now to be without AC in triple digit temperatures. I tried turning the AC off and then on again with no success. I actually pulled off to the shoulder of the road and turned the engine completely off and immediately restarted it and the air thankfully started blowing cold again. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Yup, my car also did that the other day. I did switched to sport plus for a certain distance, then back to Normal and I noticed no more cold air. Stopped on the side of the road, turn off then back on immediately and problem fixed. Thank you for the post!

I wouldn't say mine hasn't been blowing cool at all, but on occasions it certainly is very underpowered. On mildly warm days, it has no problem getting the car cooler than need be. However on hot days (say 30c) when car (grey/grey) has been sitting in the sun, it really struggles to take the edge off it. But sometimes it seems ok and i think it has helped to restart the car.

Obviously next to impossible to replicate for a mechanic (it isn't hot hear all that often!), so suspect i have for evermore! Will put it on the first service all the same.

Happened to me once as well when I was navigating to the destination and had about 20% left. My first impression that it was some unknown navigation feature that turned off the a/c THAT early. But it recovered after restarting the car.

Interesting to hear I'm not alone in finding the a/c very underpowered in this car. In previous cars it's been arctic at times but in the Taycan it's cool at best

Mine stop blowing cold air for several days. I'm at Service now and of course it's working and they are saying there's nothing they can do.

I wouldn’t say it’s underpowered. It works well to my liking… just that it stopped to work once… that never happened again after that time

My car ( ‘22 Turbo S ) just did the exact same thing today. Warm air blowing regardless of Temp setting. Thought it was because I was in Sport+ which can turn off AC if the battery gets warm, but it made no difference switching it to Normal. Turning AC off then on / turning off ECO / etc… no help.

Turned off the car at a red light and then back on, all working properly after that. Very strange.

Mines done that twice recently. Both time at around 1h40m of driving. oDB reader logged a fault about ‘low voltage to compressor’. My OPC are taking a look in a couple of weeks.
