"Prices for Emeya will be similar to those for the Eletre across global markets. We will be confirming more details on pricing and specs in the coming months. Make sure to sign up for our Lotus Updates and we will contact you when it’s time to announce the prices."

Looks to me they're are broadly using Eletre R running gear, pack etc packaged in a GT car or "Hyper-GT" if you're Lotus

and both products look really good as well. Its difficult to tell until they are on the road but the reviews for the Eletre have not been bad. It is just a shame it is taking so long for customer deliveries. Maybe it will encourage Porsche to another step change on the already brilliant Taycan...

I was putting a deposit down on Eletre until I realized it’s made in China.

NO THANKS!

Rather superficial observation and might just be the angle of photos but it looks a bit bulbous compared to the Taycan, similar to how the Polestar 2 sits a bit SUV like.

Nonetheless, if this comes in around $100k, it seems like a strong contender . I’d certainly consider it for a Taycan replacement.

It’s too bad they didn’t follow the design language of the Evija with this and the Eletre

You didn't know this already? Lotus has ZERO experience in EV development or this kind of tech, also they were purchased by Geely a while ago, this is hardly a secret...

The Electra was at the British F1, running around the ring road in black - I thought it looked wicked and very premium

Although a footnote to ev history will be that the first ever Tesla was in fact an electrified Lotus of course.
