- Taycan GTS Carmine Red - MY2024

From the first moment one lays eyes on this vibrant Carmine Red Porsche Taycan GTS, it's evident that meticulous care and attention to detail have gone into its configuration. The anticipation that builds over a span of nine months only amplifies the emotions when one finally gets to behold this beauty.
With waiting patiently and one forced change of colour from Mamba Green to the stunning Carmine Red I couldn’t be more than pleased now that it is in front of me. The GTS is a symphony of speed and luxury, equipped with everything a car enthusiast could desire. The process of choosing and playing with the configurations is part of the Porsche experience, turning the act of purchasing into a extra layer of excitement and uniqueness to the ownership experience.
The power of the GTS is phenomenal, with torque that is instantaneous and exhilarating, making every drive an adventure. The handling is impeccable, allowing for precise cornering and unparalleled control, leaving you feeling one with the vehicle. The coasting feature is a pleasant surprise, a feature that was noticeably absent in my previous Tesla Model X. I think I have done 15 launch controls. Every time I love it.
The Intelligent Octopus tariff, configured to work seamlessly with the Taycan using my existing Tesla wall charger, has been hassle-free. The dynamic profile and timers might be a bit perplexing to some, but overall, it’s efficient and reliable. On day five, a 100% charge displayed a promising range of 206 miles. I expect this is to increase as mentioned many times on this forum.
I have so far driven 500 miles in just 5 days. Wanted to take it out on a long drive so did a roundtrip journey from London to Bournemouth, 211 miles taking 4 hours and 20 minutes showcase the cars impressive efficiency. With a consumption rate of 37.3kWh/100Mi, and still having 35 miles left. When compared to the Tesla Model X, the furthest I went without a charge was 198 miles. The Tesla after 3 years was still never accurate!!!
The interior is a harmonious blend of technology and luxury, with screens adorning the cabin, offering a plethora of information and controls at your fingertips. The rear space is ample for me, making it a comfortable ride for all passengers. The seat massaging feature is a delightful addition, especially when set to strong. The heads-up display is remarkably clear and detailed, arguably the best I have seen, providing essential information without being intrusive. The thermal and noise insulated glass is really doing its job on the motorway keeping the noise levels down as I can tell a huge difference from the Model X Glass.
Perhaps a details review later but I wanted to say thank you to all the contributors on this forum in assisting us!
I opted for these additional options.
