I’m sorry, but the campaign is now over. I’m not sure if it’s because Taycan owners are generally too smart or too poor to donate, but I’ve failed in raising any funds for this initiative (although @Leawood CT did make a generous commitment, thank you!)

- Start off with damaged glass panoramic roof
- Remove it
- Replace with some kind of rollway cover system

You’ll be waiting a while. According to an article on RL, there’s an eight year waitlist for special wish cars. And I don’t think the program is quite this ‘flexible’.

IIRC, in the announcement from Porsche about increasing the number of slots to clear the backlog, they used a convertible Panamera as an example. They didn't say how much it costed.

What an awesome car this will be! I can't wait for you to have it as I know you are very deserving person, probably. Once this first one is built I will just wait for about 5 years and then buy it from you for pennies on the dollar. That's a win win for both of us. Also, this is a perfect use for a gofundme campaign. It for sure sets a new bar for what can be done with charity and compassion on gofundme.

I checked around the floorboards of my Taycan and came up with $0.18. I will work on getting that to your campaign once I figure out how gofundme actually works. I don't understand Venmo either. It could be a while, but it sounds like I have 8 years to figure it all out... ?

I have been thinking for a while that the huge pano glass roof is begging for a ‘transformiable’ roof alá Fiat 500c instant 4 seat convertible.
