I was told they are now replacing heaters on a priority basis, based on info gathered OTA from each car.
So you're saying that VAG has been extrapolating from its data on my historical driving patterns from 2019-22 in my VW Arteon then 2022-23 in my Audi A6 Allroad which when combined with my Strava skiing activity posts has placed me on the priority list for a Taycan heater replacement in anticipation of lots of driving in cold weather -- who says Porsche isn't on top of EV software issues?

What month/year was it produced? Mine is a 2/22 build, no replacement notification yet.
Mine in also February 2022. Car has done about 33 000 kms (20 500 miles) now, plenty of cold weather driving. No issues, so does it mean that only certain versions/bathces/LOTs of the heater will fail? Anyone aware of validated data on this?

Production date 12/22 here, no notification so far (the only recall on MyPorsche is the battery leak one, for which the dealer testing ordered parts already). My Taycan is going in for door handle replacements and battery leak test over the next few weeks (or months, leak test parts are apparently back ordered big time), so will ask the dealer about it.

The failures thread had a discussion about the build dates and I recall there being failures before and after our build date.

Can I reasonably expect that this will be done in a single day?
The nearest dealer is an hour away, so I don't want to have to return another day.
No. It’s a complex job and my car was several days at the dealer when its heater was replaced a few months back. Arrange for a loaner when you make your appointment.

My car is at the dealer regarding a broken compass. They also told me they would replace my heater. I said that it was working perfectly fine but they didn’t care. They told me that my Taycan was concerned by the replacement (Taycan CT 4s 2023) and they will also perform a battery leak test.

Pics of most recent HV heaters I could find on ebay.
Social media comments say HW: H11 is more reliable than H10.
Part numbers seem to be 9J1 963 507 (with letter suffix) and PAD 963 507.
Avoid heaters manufactured before late 2022.
Second pic shows suffix "F", HW H11 and SW: 017.
TSB about limited heater recall (57 cars) in April 2022 said problem was circuit board in heater not properly soldered. But later many more failures occurred.

Recall Porsche APA7 and Transport Canada. My production was Nov 2021. Never had an issue with it however. I have an appt in November for my 33,000km inspection. They should do it there

Have you had any postal correspondence or emails from Porsche Cars GB?

I’ve had nothing on this issue or battery leak test for that matter. My car came off the line in late November 2022.

For those who may want to check it themselves, it's actually nicely exposed (#1 below)

This must be a very expensive manufacturing fault for Webasto...

I recall reading their literature for this HV heater where they boasted of a 10,000!! hour service life. What a joke.
