I saw that you could now download all your trips in MyPorsche website. So I thought I would look into that reported data and see how much the car has reported in km’s driven, as well as consumption. Since I use my car mostly for long distance driving I wanted to try to calculate the total kWh consumed as per the car reports.

You can download both the information under “””since start”” and “”since charging””. From there it would be possible to calculate the overall consumption and summarise it.
There is also one further statistic where you get the total information. I have not let that run right from start but have reset this for a number of different trips, all together 8 entries.
Adding the totals for each category gives me the following total km driven

ODOMETER. 62 512 km
SINCE CHARGING 60 553 km
SINCE START. . 59 306 km
TOTAL TRIP. 75 624 km

Go figure that statistic out?? Seems extremely odd that the summaries can differ by such a large amount! That makes a complete mockery of the consumption figures for sure!

Has anybody else seen something similar??

As an aside, I do notice that the Odometer as reported in MyPorsche app is a couple miles short of what is currently reported on the web site - perhaps a simple delay in updating from last short run to the store.

Any chance with all the resets in your car's history that some data is now corrupted/inconsistent in their database?

EDITED - prior post edited - should read my responses more carefully bef posting!! I also need to look through the CSV's to check for any odd rounding errors etc. improbably as that may seem.

I did select the time period on the website, not the app, as you suspected.

I downloaded all the data in css and then used the spreadsheet functions for summary.

May be possible that the Since start and Since charging statistics could be way off due to my issues with the comms modules. Certainly a few of the days might have been lost. That is a good point.

But then there is a lot of duplications for the totals in such case. 13 k km extra?

Agreed there is something a bit off or I'm just not seeing it yet :) I'll dig into my data later today at some pt and see if similar inconsistencies may be present.

@Scandinavian - You made me curious so I took a look at my data.

Odometer: 9035 miles
Since charging: 9048 miles 3.179 miles/kWh
Since start: 9033 miles 3.179 miles/kWh

So total miles differs but not like yours. But here is where my data doesn't make sense.

Total trip: 9035 miles 15 miles @ 1.0 miles/kWh (reset when I took delivery)
1452 miles @ 3.3 miles/kWh (made a mistake here and reset lifetime)
7568 miles @ 3.5 miles/kWh

Possibly being an idiot, I will assume the individual readings under "Since charging" and "Since start" are correct. The downloaded file shows that the car is seemingly measuring consumption (miles/kWh) to 3 decimals. Where is Porsche coming up with 3.5 miles/kWh under Total trip? Totaling the downloaded (miles and consumption) data under charging and start yields identical consumption/efficiency numbers, roughly 9% worse than what Porsche would have you believe under Total trip. In my case 3.5 miles/kWh always felt like fiction. Very few trips have achieved that level of efficiency. 3.2 miles/kWh "feels" about right but is any of data really accurate?

I am having the same problem. Since charging 9878 km and Odometer was 10000 km. But the car suddenly added 132km that I cannot attribute to anything (I have an app that keeps track of my charging activity). So the trip data is off.

As I said several times, those data are ….more or less…not accurate at all.
Based on downloaded ALL records, my total average consumption is 24.6kw/100km while app says 17.1 kwh.100km.

also total trips, since day 1 is not the same as stands in the app/cabin display.

When i asked support about that…i got an answer that i should check their range calculator on their web site :headbang: … after i rephrased the question, sending screenshots, no response from them …so i gave up.
