It is a really good day out. One thing I noticed is how much better the Taycan was compared to other models on various sections eg the skid pan.

I have another Experience day to take and this time I think I will pay extra and take my wife. I think she’ll have a blast.

For anyone that isn’t sure, you get to drive the same model that you have bought but not your own car so you can really have fun without worrying about damaging your own.

may I ask how this is for family members? My thoughts were they might get bored while I'm driving around. Are they looked after, how many can turn up?

Hi fellow Taycan drivers. I will be heading to Silverstone on Wednesday for a driving experience day. Has anyone got any tips they can share that might help me get the best out of the day? Looking forward to heading around their track, I am sure it will be a blast. ?

it's good that you've had the car a little while before you go.. as others have said, going prior to receiving my Taycan, I feel now I could have pushed on a lot more if I were to go again.

@tylerdurden I think you can take 1 guest for the meal.. my wife came along and was well fed and watered throughout the morning.. she had wifi and a book to keep her occupied whilst I was out on the track.

hopefully the weather is nice as there are viewing platforms to go out on for a better view.... it was tipping it down when I went and the view from the restaurant area was limited..

plus the missus couldn't tell which car I was in so got lots of photo's of other people!

Went today and had a blast - sunny and dry.... I've been before and drove a Taycan CT 4 like mine then so they let me drive an alternative model - picked a 911 GTS - it was fun but I prefer my CT

*The 911 was achieving 8 mpg !!!!

Note that the fast chargers are NOT free - which I hadn't twigged...! And you probably don't need them as you're probably there long enough for a full charge on the standard ones.

It was a great day though, lots of fun and great instruction on how to get the best from the car. Switching the electronic assistance off really opens your eyes to how much the car helps you to keep it on the road....

Thanks for the advice. I will use one of the slow chargers. I look forward to trying the car without the assistance systems. It's been a long time since I have driven a car with them switched off. Great fun.

Wow, what an amazing day at the Porsche Experience Centre. We were really looked after, the food was great and my instructor was superb. Despite the rain, I had a blast on the different tracks. I learnt a lot about the handling of the car and really started to push the car towards the end. I have really got to understand how the car handles, and it really impressed me. Thanks to the team at the centre for a great day out for me and my family. ?
