PORSCHE CENTERS SHOULD NOT SELL, LEASE, RENT, OR LOAN ANY NEW OR USED VEHICLES IN DEALER INVENTORY AFFECTED BY THIS NOTIFICATION PRIOR TO REMEDY.
PORSCHE CENTERS GROUNDING LEASE RETURNS SHOULD REMEDY ALL AFFECTED GROUNDED VEHICLES.
Any vehicles delivered to customers before this announcement may be released from Stop Delivery by sending a PRMS Warranty / Campaigns Ticket to PCNA_Warranty_Support in PRMS. The ticket must have proper documentation of the sale / delivery.

What will Porsche do? Vehicles will have the remedy performed once it is available. Front brake hoses will be replaced.

The Remedy parts are not available at this time.

Ffs, that kinda puts a dent into the "who cares about software" arguments.. ? It would be prudent for everyone here (and not only) to conduct their own "optical analyses" of their brake hoses. Sigh.

7 reported occurrences with NO accidents and secondary braking still operational. Sounds to me like Porsche is being very conservative and getting ahead of a possible issue before an accident occurs. As an engineer, when we discovered an issue, we resolved it as quickly as possible. Thank you Porsche!

I just received the notice on MyAudi app for my ‘23 Audi RS etron GT, but nothing yet on MyPorsche app for my ‘24 CT 4S

Up until recently I was convinced Porsche had one of the best brakes in the car industry, bar none. Apparently it's not just "new tech" that presents a challenge for current generation Porsche engineers.

And dealers were worried they wouldn't be making any money servicing EV's. I bet Porsche techs trained to work on Taycans are in very high demand right now. I suspect some dealerships won't even be done with all the heater recalls before the flood of brake recalls opens up.

I took delivery of my Audi RS etron GT in Oct 2023, and the only other recall thus far was for the portable charger which I also received a mailing for recently bc I have yet to exchange it.

From what I can see, there is no similar brake-related recall for Audi e-tron posted at NHTSA yet. My guess is that NHTSA regs require an owner letter for recalls.

At this time recall ARB0 has no remedy TSB and draft owner notification letter posted at NHTSA.
