It is unlikely!

Back in the 70s and 80s there was massive enthusiasm for wheel centre “fans” in the tuning community and I saw them on some sports racing cars but the reality is the rotational speed of a wheel is nowhere near high enough to do anything much.
I think you are right. All the other factors are going to skew the numbers more

Unfortunately my photographic skills don't do it justice, but I like the contrast of my CT charging (albeit at an all-too-typical 5.4kW for public L2 units, and only one of two was working, which alas is also all too typical) at the Littleton NH food coop with the little local ski area of Mt Eustis in the background.

Now for a historical aside of sorts:

This ski area was nicknamed Mt Useless when it loss about half its vertical relief once the interstate was routed through its middle, and went through a long closure period before reopening relatively recently.

I feel a bit of connection to it, since my father was friends with the heir to its namesake family when they were in graduate school together in the 1950s.
My father was the first in his family to attend college, and even the first in his family to graduate from high school (as his father has left Europe at age 16), and was studying for a PhD in history to realize the American dream of immigrant family advancement.
By contrast, his friend Fred Eustis was studying for a PhD in history because ... well, I suspect he just couldn't come up with anything better to do? (Some research shows he was also at least the fourth generation in his family to graduate from Harvard.)

When I had dinner with my father at his friend's place in the 1990s, I remember thinking to myself that it would make for a nice museum.
And indeed it now is:

Historic New England, which has 37 other sites, bought the estate in 2012 from Frederic Augustus Eustis II, A.M. ’52, Ph.D. ’77 (Augustus’s son), who lived there with his wife, Elizabeth, until 2014. After they moved out, some $5.1 million was spent to repair and restore the house and remaining outbuildings, and to convert the fairy-tale-worthy stone 1892 gatehouse into administrative offices.

My father had recalled being told by his friend that a relative had been the U.S. Secretary of War (now Defense), but "not a very good one" -- and indeed he set the stage for you Brits on this forum to burn our capital:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Eustis
As tensions grew between the United States and Great Britain, Eustis made modest moves to improve military readiness, but did not otherwise distinguish himself or introduce other initiatives or proposals. When the War of 1812 began, the army's logistics were in shambles, and it had no overall commander, forcing Eustis to make detailed decisions for nine military districts. When the war began poorly with the surrender of General William Hull at Detroit, Eustis was severely criticized. Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin wrote that there was "a total want of confidence" in Eustis that was felt "through every ramification of the public service." Eustis tendered his resignation in December 1812, and Secretary of State James Monroe took over his duties until John Armstrong assumed the office on February 13, 1813.

Summit of Mt Washington NH.
(I drove all the way to the summit with our daughter then we hiked down to one of my favorite alpine ski couloirs, while my wife hiked up to the summit from a lower point along the road.)

Montara State Beach

IMG_8176.jpeg
My brother used to live in Montana [edit: I meant Montara, whoops!]. First in a rental that had somewhat of a Planet of the Apes feel to it. Then he bought a modern house at an absurdly high price. Which he sold for an even more absurdly high price when he got permission (a few months before the pandemic) to work remotely from his Tahoe weekend ski house (now undergoing massive renovation). Apparently Bay Area housing prices only go up (and up and up and…).
