here to make friends i seeI fancy a bit of noise when driving, you fancied a shit green colour for your car.
Good job we can all make our own life choices isn’t it?

I've got a 4S and my business partner has a GTS. As far as I can tell they both make the same sound. A Turbo S might be different but I don't think the GTS has a unique signature sound. And there’s no option to compare a GTS sadly
No, but it does of course have AVAS that turns on when driving below (I think) 30 km/h. It’s obviously not the same thing, though, as it is a safety feature above all else. Otherwise, probably the closest thing you have is binding one of the shortcut buttons to sport sound toggling. Can I latch on to this post and ask if there is anyway the Porsche sound can be programmed to come on automatically at speeds below say 30mph… cheers
My steering wheel shortcut is for noise. No, but it does of course have AVAS that turns on when driving below (I think) 30 km/h. That’s very kind thank you but sadly I’m way up in the NW.I've got a 4S and my business partner has a GTS. As far as I can tell they both make the same sound. A Turbo S might be different but I don't think the GTS has a unique signature sound.
You don't say where in the UK you're based but if you're anywhere near Gatwick you're welcome to come and hear both for yourself.
Exactly what I have done, to warn the odd pedestrian…My steering wheel shortcut is for noise.
Check this out …Is the Sport Sound louder on the outside than the pedestrian safety sound??
I’m sure you know the answer ?So the sport sound makes it faster or slower?![]()
Well, in uses energy, so takes away available power, but it might create some aero tunnel with the sound vibrations (like ships which add bubbles to the water, causing it to "slip" passed the boat with less resistance).I’m sure you know the answer ?
Quite right! The tech works by generating an acoustic pressure wave, which creates a frictionless micro-tunnel by modulating the sound frequency and amplitude. This “magical” acoustic tunnel pushes against and heats the air, reducing drag. So essentially, Taycans with Sport Sound are serenading the air into stepping aside, zooming ahead with less resistance and, dare I say, more style! ??Well, in uses energy, so takes away available power, but it might create some aero tunnel with the sound vibrations (like ships which add bubbles to the water, causing it to "slip" passed the boat with less resistance).![]()
