I tend to agree. If you want external sounds, then Panamera or 911 are the models you should purchase.
I know exactly what you mean.having enjoyed my Mazda RX-8 for 13 years
Not true. Friends tell me that they can hear the car a block and a half way with the sports sound. Without it, I've snuck up on pedestrians walking on the street only a few feet away. The sport sound is only for what you hear inside the cabin.
The ‘Porsche’ crest on the headrest is the car equivalent to monogrammed shirts and pyjamas. Naff.I should have skip it when I ordered the car. Same for the Porsche crest on the head rest. Useless to me.
I do like the crest on the headrests myself. When I own a Turbo S or other variant that has the model name by default on the headrests I leave it there – but currently in a GTS that doesn't – so have the crest instead. The ‘Porsche’ crest on the headrest is the car equivalent to monogrammed shirts and pyjamas. Naff.
Who hasn’t realised it’s a Porsche before seeing the headrests or centre box?
ESS sounds like a tube train.
Nice tip!For maximum enjoyment of Electric Sport Sound for those with Bose- turn off AudioPilot as it filters out some of the layered notes especially on low speeds.
Yup!!Beautiful car- mine had those upgrades too. Rev8 exhaust and Revi intake really brought out the soundtrack and my favorite was going through a tunnel with windows down, wish I kept mine!
When I ordered the car in 2019 the standard logo was "Turbo S" which I didn't like but there was no option to change it.The ‘Porsche’ crest on the headrest is the car equivalent to monogrammed shirts and pyjamas. Naff.
