Got to see comfort access suspension action on '25. No chance that is software upgrade for '23?

On my '23 CT4S, comfort access is kind of useless. At home, I have programmed the speedbump mode so that when I pull into the garage, the suspension is at the highest setting.
I was at Porsche Experience event this week and saw '25 Turbo with that comfort access feature where car jump up when you unlock it. So cool! Now I am lusting after that feature. What are the chances that is software upgrade?

0% chance as this is the new Porsche Active Ride suspension, which also means new hardware.

As tomtom said, it’s only available with active ride which is only available in MY 2025 as an option. The lift is achieved by the hydraulic suspension so zero chance of a software update.

zero chance I would think. I’ve got comfort access on my Taycan and 992. Very frustrating that the car opens when you walk past. Is there a way to deactivate this and set up so touching handle opens car as with Audi??

The height of the lift was about as much as my CT goes up... but I guess not same hardware. Cool. I like the curves on Gen 1, so not lusting after Gen 2.

there are options in the door locking munu where you can change the behaviour. Pretty sure you can turn that feature off. Or you can long press the lock+unlock button on the key fob after locking to disable comfort access however it resets once you open the car.

I think that’s actually even the default setting. Go to Settings -> Car -> Locking System and uncheck ”Extended Comfort Access”.

Would Actve Suspension actually bring the car down hard on speed bumps? I can’t imagine they’d let that happen. If it did, you’d damage the battery protective plate and cooling system underneath. See the *long thread* on this very point.
