Yes, however, they do have a "software update" that they can apply to the brakes themselves that can fix it. I read and asked porsche about it. Requested it for my car, which is in service. Let's hope it actually does something.

This software update is TSB WPK0. My Porsche dealership just told me they will have to apply both ARB0 et WPK0 on my car.
Appointment scheduled on Nov 12 (!) with a loaner to apply those 2 and the WPL8 (Heater unit swap).

I'm surprised they offered to do it by themselves. I had to ask.

I have no WPK0 recall active. Hopefully that's what they are doing.

I had my appointment pushed out from 2nd to 16th due to parts availability. I have the PCCB brakes, too! - I believe they use a different hose from the standard steel brakes.

My turbo has been at the dealer for a month now, awaiting parts. No ETA.

Absolutely infuriating. Anyone have any tips?

As with many others, I’ve just had my brake recall cancelled for Monday (Turbo
S). I had it booked in from the first day the recall appeared in My Porsche back in July. Been told the parts are still not available and they do not know when they’ll come in. It beggars belief to me that anyone would buy a new Porsche EV given the amount of issues the Taycan has had, and the support for that car being so poor. And don’t get me started on the pricing!

Issue is still supply chain related - it was much worse during the pandemic. The war in Ukraine hasn't helped as many components were made there. Not forgetting either the drama semi-conductor shortages caused or the flooded factory where the air suspension units were made or the fire that destroyed a key aluminium supplier.

None of these are down to Porsche.

What is a failing is poor design - how can a brake cable be designed to be too short??

Mine is booked for 12/09/24 but fully expecting a cancellation prior (I was told when I booked that they had the parts).

Even more annoying … the latest update of the MyPorsche app now displays an orange warning symbol on the Home Screen advising you of a safety recall that can’t be undertaken

I am aware that this is a thread for U.K. cars, but what I think is completely unacceptable for Porsche, is that there is no recall information so far here in France.

No letter, no email, no information in the app or website!

I've had that for weeks along with a letter.

I wouldn't sweat it - those who have had the work done did not require it as far as I'm aware.
