Perhaps Redshift can be persuaded to capture (as in 'ask nicely') the improvements from their clients, and publish the data anonymously.
Please please pretty please Redshift Performance advertise your RWD tune so that I can spend my money with you (that sounds rediculous ?). It's been asked a bunch of times. I do understand customer hesitation to post though. I like what Redshift is doing but I've stated before the RWD and GTS are probably the biggest market.

Too bad the tune doesn’t improve the turbo much…… it’s not like an tune on an ice car
Except you have boost power ALL OF THE TIME and some extra (higher peak current which means more power due to P=U×I).
Vmax limiter off.
What more do you need?
Start losing weight! ?

BOOST power is different than TRUE difference in performance #’s
You do realize the difference between tunes of ice vs EV’s correct?
There will be REAL/ significant difference in 0-60 1/4 I’m not seeing that with a tune on the turbo.
You lost me with the weight analogy
?

agree.
Looks like the tune works best for base car and GTS. A base Turbo you don’t see much hp.

If you're having more power ALL OF THE TIME it's not called "boost" anymore.
Or maybe I don't understand what you're saying.

Yes.
Tuned EVs get higher (peak) current and the voltage of the battery determines the amount of output power
Full battery (800V) means more power: P=800V×600A
P=480 kW.

The voltage drops during use so does the power.
P=700V×600A
P=420 kW.

It's as simpel as that.
Note that heat will cause more resistance so your current will drop accordingly.
There's also a voltage drop during peak performance.
That's why it's HIGHLY important to test different ECUs with exact the same SoC and battery temperature.
100% SoC/35°C is best.

ICEs just add more air and fuel, that's actual boost. ?
More air is added by (turbo) compressors, blowers or N2O (nitrious oxide).
More fuel by bigger pumps and injectors.

Weight.
To improve performance you have to add lightness.
Says Colin Chapman. ?

All those redshift performance threads turn into “how much more power do you get” and “what about warranty “ threads.

for those that are interested, the numbers are secondary. Real life observations count and everyone who has reported in this thread has universally praised the tune. For example a GTS is transformed into a rocket ship. And even those with TT have reported a significant difference.
Those comments count much more than any numbers.

Exactly.
I'm very pleased with my tune on my Turbo S. ???

Agree 100% , I just wonder why RWD are absent from the discussion and their website. We can do math and figure it out but like you said real life observations are the best.

Glad to see you did the tune!
And having at least 136 hp (761 vs 620 hp) extra is relatively cheap for $3900.

As we all know Porsche under-promises but over-delivers.
IRL that 620 hp is more than 700 hp so 761 hp is also a lot more but you can't actually test that on a dyno.

But with this Redshift Performance tune that's also possible...

Had the redshift ECU on my turbo S for around about 2 months now.

Had a warranty issue with heater and recalls so removed it.

Not put it back in yet and omg the car feels slow as hell!

Mario is amazing to deal with, really knowledgeable and fast to respond. Got my ECU to the UK in 2 days (which is insane!).

Performance with the ECU installed is mind blowing.

If you haven't already get it done!

You can't drive it without the upgrade once you taste it.
We rarely use the car in launch control so the upgrade becomes crucial

I am genuinely gobsmacked that a standard Taycan Turbo S feels slow on UK roads.

Thank you @sonicsomewhere for the very detailed write up! We are glad you are enjoying the newly unlocked performance and the numbers speak for themselves! With a set of new tires these might even improve a bit more. Keep us posted!

For folks that are concerned about warranty we can let you know that we have ZERO reports from our customers about any issues related to warranty from the manufacturer. This includes early customers that don't have secondary ECUs.
For people that are not familiar with our products: We provide our customers with a secondary ECU which is plug and play in your vehicle. Your original ECU stays untouched, just the way it is in your car right now.
Check out our different offerings on our website https://www.redshift-performance.com/taycan or send us an email with your questions to: [email protected]
Am I right to assume that the only difference between 4 and 4S is software thus the same result in performance after the flash?
