Non-franchised dealer will be a show stopper.

Mileage is high for age but not a concern for the battery state per se.

Still under manufacturers warranty which is key.

Because the battery life will out live the car in reality - there are cars with 200K+ miles (not just Porsche) which still have healthy batteries. Don't believe the negative hype on battery / battery degradation as it is generally overstated. Battery SOH (state of health) will decline over time for sure but not to the extent you may have imagined.

Battery has an 8 year warranty and as this is an MY23 then some ways to go.

Original MSRP was $151,450.
Only 1,767 miles left on the regular warranty.
With almost exactly half the mileage left in the HV battery warranty.
Non-CPO, at a Genesis dealership.
So $79,970 seems in the ballpark.

I would not buy a used Taycan that cannot be CPO'd at a dealer to make sure all systems are working, all recalls have been completed, and the state of health of the HV battery is certified and still in warranty. Only an authorized Porche Dealer can obtain and certify HV battery state of health (SoH) to see if any warranty thresholds have been reached before the 8-year 100k mark.

In short, I would not buy unless a Porsche dealer can CPO it with certified HV SoH reading.

I quickly found this that is not 100% accurate since HV battery warranty is 8 years and 100k miles, but wanted to point out the 37.5k miles threshold and 80% of SoH remaining. This is a highly unlikely event, but if you have any bad cells then the fix even under warranty will take a long time, so you can be without a car for a long time. Also, if there is any damage, dents more than 3mm, to the underbody shield that again only authorized Porsche dealer can measure then the fix may be in the $40k-$50k range as we have a precedent here on the forum of this happening.

Porsche dealer will have to do a deep inspection check before they can CPO or extend the warranty. This is not an automatic pay and extend event.

Good to know, but I would pay to CPO it which would be better than extending factory warranty.
However, what if you buy it and CPO check fails, then you can fall on factory warranty to correct before it can be CPO'd. Specifically, HV battery SoH has to be good, all recalls are completed, and multi-point inspection passes.

for sure a CPO is better but it’s almost more money ? i think CPO GTS will run around 110k plus.
Nothing is free in life. Sadly ?

"Stateside" = in the USA (I'm in the UK).

If it's the spec you want, get it inspected and bargain hard.

1. Probably one of the highest mileage GTS cars out there
2. Buyers looking for CPO
3. Color doesn't help
4. Low MSRP build
5. Pricing compression with higher MSRP / CPO cars. Many CPOs are listing only a few Ks higher and likely sells just above the asking of this car
