I feel like in sport plus it sounds louder, but I am not sure if that is true. However, it lowers the car too low to drive in the city. Can I achieve the same without lowering the chassis and just normal stiffness?

I wouldn’t say it’s louder, only the tone changes as the car prefers the first gear.

Though, what you can do is to setup your individual profile to use sport plus as your drive mode while leaving chassis and height in normal

You can't.

GTS has its own sound in Sport / + but other than that there is no adjustment.

Personally I hate ESS and always disable if active.

Whether it's louder in Sports Plus than in any other mode is debatable, but if you want to activate "Sports Plus" mode but drive with normal dampers just select "Sports Plus" as the drive mode and then go into the menu and manually change the dampers and ride height.

Even for GTS?
The only time I’ve noticed a “louder” sports sound is with my foot on the brake during launch control. And that may have simply been my heart pounding in my chest:oops:

i used it once. Passengers likened it to the London Tube and a Shark hoover.
More gimmicky than fake air vents and exhausts. Or sports exhausts - If you want something that pops and crackles just buy fireworks.

It does seem to be sound louder on sport mode

Personally having had a Tesla 3 performance for a few years which is a quick car did sometimes seem a bit like it’s missing the theatrics of the noise…which the sports sound seems to fill…. Surprisingly.

Akin to watching an explosion, or a rocket take off with no sound at all ?
It’s still amazing but sometimes missing a bit of
The emotional connection ?

I'm probably in the minority, but it would be nice to have the noise louder (or some kind of volume setting for it). I think it's a tiny bit louder in the GTS, but still very quite. I have a G580 on order, which has "G Roar" as Mercedes calls it; I'm curious to see how that will compare.

Doug just reviewed G580 with G Roar, Tank mode, and Tank like weight, authentic look with exposed hinges, and a backpack instead of a spare tire...I hope you know what you are getting into

I saw lol. Not sure if it's the right move, but want to try something different ?. I'm going to list the Taycan on his auction site shortly.

At least on my turbo, confirmed by the technician, and my own observation, there is a sport sound that can be activated in any mode (you can bind it to a hotkey); and sport + has an entirely different sound which is louder and with more bass.
