ARB0- my dealership told me there was no remedy at this time

Hello, I’m located in Washington state in the United States there’s an open recall on my car for ARB0.

To my surprise, the advisor said that there was “no remedy at this time and told me to do nothing

Is the service advisor, mistaken? Because many on this forum have replaced their brakes hose

My dealer said to do the brake hose replacement he needed to order the parts by vin # which he did. Going in for the service the 28th.

My local dealership has the replacement parts in hand and I have an appointment in a couple of weeks. I was told that they are requiring owners to bring the Taycan in and leave it before the parts are being released to prioritize those that are actually being driven (versus those that are just parked/used rarely as a second vehicle/etc.)

Recall ARB0 was posted on NHTSA website in June 2024. In August, owners were notified by interim recall letter. That letter said that no remedy is available at this time.

My guess is that most US Taycan owners will not be contacted by Porsche until the parts are generally available for all cars in the recall. What your dealer told you is Porsche's official guidance per US NHTSA so far.

I received a call from my dealership in NM 6 weeks ago asking when THEY could schedule an appointment for the brake hose recall. I dropped the car off, and they completed the recall for the brakes and the charger in 5 days. No issues, so my guess is it’s dealer dependent!

I was doing recalls a few weeks ago and they didn't have the parts for it yet they said (in North NJ).

I'm also in WA state and Porsche Seattle North (formerly Porsche Bellingham) was able to do the brake hose replacement for me earlier this month.

I am in Norcal. I just had my brake hose repair done as well as the replacement cable for the charger.
It is all about when they have parts available.

I called the Porsche Autonation in Bellevue and they do in fact have the part and I scheduled by repair / replacement
