Exactly and that is why I don't drive my Boxster in the winter. This happened here in Rochester, from our local news web site " Rochester Police say at 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday a 53-year-old man was trying to turn his 2014 Porsche onto College Avenue from North Goodman Street when he lost control of the car and hit three parked cars in the parking lot next to the intersection, eventually wedging his car underneath a parked SUV." Weather was cold mid 30sF with some on/off drizzle. Just speculation on my part but I'm guessing summer tires that were ice cold. I know on my wife's Boxster, her summer tires are dangerous when the temp is below 40F with next to no grip.
No reason not to drive in winter. Just get winter tires.Exactly and that is why I don't drive my Boxster in the winter.
