BOSE system has additional settings that should be turned on. Same for burmester. Out of the "box", neither sound good. With burmester i messed around with a few settings after selecting the "live" template, to achieve a sound to my liking.

I also believe that burmester comes with aditional sound deadening material in the doors; or maybe the serive taycan with Bose i was given simply had not properly connected door panels, but they were rattling quite a bit more than mine with burmester
In reality the inside of a car is never going to be able to have accurate sound for all (or even any in most cases) passengers.

The distance from the actual speaker drivers to each other and to the passengers is wrong for both frequency response and stereo effect, so a bit of digital signal processing to make it sound OK to some people will be needed. A bit of faux surround works wonders.

Then there are panel vibrations and even actual buzzes sometimes.

It is trying to make a silk purse out of a Sow's ear though, so don't expect too much.

It seems that the additional amplifier mainly provides more power.
I don’t think the system lacks power, in my opinion, it’s already very strong. I’m looking for a balance between the frequencies to achieve a stable, non-harsh sound at high volume.
I’m still tweaking the settings to find the right balance.
He fails to mention there that this Musway amp also has a very good DSP on board that is relatively easy to tune, i guess he is using the factory default were everything is flat, but this amp has both mobile and desktop tuning software that can be tuned and customized, so it has the potential to sound even better!

Interesting. I'm in the midst of researching what I should do to improve my Bose system. I know I want more bass, so swapping out the subs is something I will do.

I've also seen plug and play replacements for the speakers (tweeters, center, and doors).

I'm trying to figure out if I do the speakers, do I still need the Musway amp (or any other amp) or is the Bose amp powerful enough. From the video, it seems that the Musway amp gives the speakers the power they need/want, so I guess that upgrading the speakers alone may not be sufficient?

I am looking into an upgrade but I have questions for my 2025 Taycan 4S with the Bose system:

1. How many speakers and its location?
2. I was informed that the Musway M12 is a plug & play with the correct harness.
3. Any issues of codes popping up to where the OEM dsp amp is fully removed replaced with the Musway?
4. Most local shops I have contacted requires to build it by using my car to validate the pinouts. Where can I purchase the harness for my vehicle that's already made? If there is another brand, please let me know.
4. For a future amp & sub upgrade, please provide pics or description of your install with the power cable power from the 12v connection in the front to the rear. I hope I am able to use a original hole instead of making a new one for a 0 gauge wire.
