Would love to hear from anyone in the US with a pre-facelift who gets 4360!

Apple Maps shows up in the cluster and turn by turn.

I assume you mean Apple Maps next navigation step metadata appears in the cluster, not actual visual Apple Maps, right? Because I'd love to see Apple Maps second display in this car. One of the things I most miss from the Polestar. But I haven't seen any evidence that it's soon.

I've only ever seen photos/videos of this on Macan, not a Taycan.

I could be totally wrong about it being on pre-facelift as it was post about something else and I asked about pcm version but I really hope we get it. I use google maps so that’s what I’d like on the cluster.

Maybe it ought to be, but that video is of a Macan, not a Taycan. it uses a different underlying OS for its PCM.

What I've read about the PCM update for the J1.2 Taycan is that you get Apple Maps turn-by-turn directions in the dash, but not the map itself. (Would love be be wrong though.)

I just called my local PC.
They said that an upgrade of the „OS“ of pre-facelift models is currently not planned/there is no communication regarding that.

It was planned to update smaller things like the charge menu, but currently also no news regarding that.

It could be that these features come through coding while the vehicle is connected with a testing device in the PC.
But they said, that something like this gets not communicated to them and can only be seen when the car is onsite.

I have a service appointment end of this month and will report back if anything happened in this regards.

Btw, does the new directions work with android auto? Say if i have waze running on android auto does its directions show up on the digital instrument cluster
