Interesting. My app is on v14.25.05. I presume it uses different versions depending on country?

I'm on Android and I haven't made any updates that I am aware of. Don't know what version my app was at yesterday, but will take a look at my recent updates.
Edit: the last update for my app was 10th Feb, so there was no update last night for me.

It’s because it’s gone cold and I wanted to precondition the car happens literally every time I need to rely on Porsche connect.

FWIW, configured daily preconditioning, while not visible in the app, still works. I got a notification from the app that my car finished preheating.

Fun fact:
I programmed a timer yesterday evening with preheating.
At the designated time this morning I got a pop-up message on my phone, that preheating is done.
So obviously a bug in the app, as connection in the background seems to work somehow...

I have the same issue here in France, so it clearly is a common problem for Porsche. I think my app updated yesterday and worked then, so most likely a server issue again.

Also all the Macan EV’s seem to have lost connection as well. Same issue reported there.

I have no experienced these breakdowns since 2020! You would think that they would have rectified these issues over 5 years?? Very disappointing that this still occurs.

And makes me question how Porsche Is going to manage all these SW issues. They are going to reduce the number of staff at Caraid and at the same time have released at least 3 different SW platforms for their cars, J1 , Macan and the new still to come platform!

Mine is back up now too.

Set my car to charge to 85% last night and it charged to 100%. Not a disaster, but clearly because Octopus could not connect with the car.

It’s back up indeed and I got to see all the functionality and then the system decided my car was in privacy mode. Doh.

Just me or has anyone else lost all Porsche Connect features in the latest app update?

App just updated to v14.0.5 (and phone also now updated to iOS 18.3.2). I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. Signed out and back in again. No change.

All Connect features are gone! Checked my Porsche account and the contact is active until December.

Weird.

As others have noted, mine is now working again too. The app update etc was probably just coincidental.
