Dear all,

I would need a little bit of help. I’m trying to connect to Porsche Mobile Charger Connect Web Application. I did manage to sing in with the Home user password, but I am not able to sign with the Tech user password. I have both of them and I also did factory reset and update of the PMCC firmware to the latest version.

Do anyone has any suggestions what to do to be able to connect with the Tech user password?

Thank you very much and best regards.

You don't actually need the tech password - doesn't provide much more than what you have - given you done the firmware update.

The PMCC should have been supplied with a small white envelope containing these details - do you not have this?

What do you want to use the Tech user for specifically?

Yes, I do have an envelope with the password. But from (at least to me) unknown reason web application doesn’t want to accept the other password (for tech user), but the password for the home user works totally fine.

I would like to login as a tech user just to be able to see a bit more information and also have some additional options.

Thank you!

If you aren't the original owner then perhaps the password was changed?

Tech can run a demo mode - pretty rubbish actually.

Personally, I only ever use the Home user - covers everything you're likely to need and besides the info is replicated to My Porsche app.

The only option is to take the unit to Porsche and have them reset passwords etc - you'll need the PUK and I don't think you can do this over the phone but I may be wrong.

Contact your Porsche center with PMCC serial no. and proof of ownership. They have the needed passwords and PIN/PUK after a reset to factory default. I've just been through this procedure and managed to connect to the PMCC and update to latest firmware version (v.3031)

Unfortunately the charger will not charge my car due to missing Porsche server "cloud" connection? Wifi / internet connection is fine, but no "cloud icon" at PMCC start page.

Porsche say the charger should be able to charge without the vehicle PCID in the PMCC vehicle list, which I highly doubt. Has anyone in this forum seen this actually be working - PMCC charging without any car registration in the charger?

Odd - as per the other thread, I'm also on v3031 and also cannot now connect to the cloud but my PMCC will charge my Taycan. My specific Taycan is not logged in the PMCC, but the generic "Taycan" PCID is
