Scraped my wheel…can this be fixed?

I got careless and hit a curb. There are scratches on the 21 inch wheel. While hard to spot unless you’re looking for it, they annoy me. (Even though it’s my stupid fault. )
Can this be fixed or Are new wheels the answer. I meant to get wheel insurance but somehow it didn’t happen.

everything can be fixed for a price. IMO, unless the wheels are special, the cost may not be worth it.

I have Porsche coverage on this and they beautifully repaired a pretty serious case of wheel rash.

i also have the Porsche coverage package and my dealer repaired a scrub of my black painted wheel in one afternoon…the repair was impressive and impossible to spot after they finished.

For the integrity of the wheel, Porsche can refuse repair, if the damage is deeper than 1 mm and/ or further away from the outer edge than 50 mm.
Usually 3rd party won't bother.

I wouldn't imagine there would be a problem repairing that, ive seen far worse kerb rash.

I would absolutely get it fixed. For about 250 a wheel it’s well worth it and you’ll enjoy every minute of it.

I don't know about American prices, but here in the UK I'm almost certain that could be fixed as a "smart repair", which would be in the region of £50 - £60. (Edit - my prices were slightly out)
