Hi,

I got delivered a new Taycan Turbo GT.
The delivery was already not the best I ever had to be honest it was the worst.
Then I took the first week I had the car into the mountains around where I live - and it rained there and I figured out Porsche forgot to install all sprayers for the windshield - I had to clean it from hand because when one sprayer is missing then there is no pressure and the other dont work (i added a video).

Now after the week in the mountain on the way home - all over the air servies went inactive - so not only that my Apple Music was not working ( not the biggest issue) - no all over the air services failed - like what is the battery status or navigate to a POI or or or - see othere video.

So in short after having the car less then a week already one defect and one quality issue. Oh the spayer could be fixed from porsche on the spot. But the PCM will not work over the air anymore could not - so i gave my car on a friday in service last week and still drive arround with a loner car.

I had BMW before (M4 then M5 and in the end M8 - each for 3 years) cars was only for normal service in - i had nine years luck

yes it is the one with back seats - we are a family of 4 and it is our family car - or it should be - I talked to porsche today and they reseted all the "over-the-air" Hardware and made the post delivery inspection again - result -> still not working

Love the bold orange color. Sorry to hear about your issues. I haven't tried my windshield spray yet, and now you're making me nervous.

Lovely car, sorry to hear of the hassles. Had a few niggles with mine but imo expected on a new car (my 1 year old AMG had 3 recalls in 18 months). Hopefully you get over the hill and then enjoy the driving!

The J1.2 cars have some kind of problem where they lose connectivity to the Cloud and won’t reconnect automatically.

Mine has lost its connection several times and always in the same place where I park to take my kids swimming and it’s a cell service dead zone. The Porsche app shows it as the current car location, but I haven’t been there in over a month.
I wonder if your trip to the mountains was the same deal, no cell service triggers the problem.

When the car gets in a disconnected state, CarPlay, Apple Music, anything related to connectivity is unavailable. I just use FM radio now.

Same here. In 6 months since delivery I had no connectivity during 3 months. The strange thing is that it seems to come back and disappear at random. You'll find some of my posts here on the forum with more details. I believe it is not hardware related but more so a problems of handshaking and not situated in the car but at some server level.

Very similar experience on my Turbo GT, but mine started at the dealer during delivery of the new car?. All services died and we could not even log in. The people at the dealership spent 4 hours trying to get the car to work with services and my account, and failed. I took it home that night on guest mode and the next day did a total factory reset a few times and the third time it started connecting. Still took most of the day to get all my services. The software quality of Taycan is THE WORST I have ever seen of any car. Great physical car but software sucks. I mean all that happen at delivery!!

Oh man, I took delivery back in September and assumed things would be getting better as the year went on and they worked out software bugs.
The connectivity is definitely something on the Cloud / Server side, because mine worked flawlessly for 2-months, and then had the workshop update claimed to fix it, and now still same problems.

Phone support recommends factory reset as a standard troubleshooting method, but I don't want to lose all my saved front-lift locations.
