My car’s now completely up to date with all updates and recalls and I’m seeing a huge improvement in both economy and range.

Mine’s a 2022 4S with bigger battery.

Previously I’d have to work hard at driving sedately on a long drive to see 3mi/kwh and my regular commute was nailed on at 2.4mi/kwh. That includes the 2 previous summers, so this isn’t a summer vs winter thing, this is now my 3rd summer with the vehicle.
I’m now seeing 3.0-3.2mi/kWh on that same commute and 3-3.1 on most long journeys without trying.

Range wise today I charged to 100%, dash showed a range of 280miles. I took that with a pinch of salt because I’d never previously seen more than 242 indicated on the dash but having driven 250 miles today I have a remaining range of 31 miles so I’ve already driven more miles on this charge than anything previously indicated.

Has anyone else seen a range improvement since the recent updates?

^Exactly. Are we talking ARB6/ARB7 but these have nothing to do with range logic, only monitoring.

In summer-times, driving like a normal human-being for a few 100 km increases my J1.1 TS CT range significantly.
100 % gives me over 400 km currently (normal-mode).
In winter, range goes down to as low as 285 km on a full charge from time to time.
Not having a range-monster, but eating km in the most fun-way.
Didn't buy this car for maximum range anyway.

I received a letter about this same ARB6/WRS0 optimised software and my car is also 2022 4S with a bigger battery . Currently the car shows 255 miles max on a summer sunny day.

Reading this raise my interest, Will call my dealer in the morning to book. Hopes high.

Which update?
I’ve lost track of what’s been applied this year - it’s been in 4 times for various things and there’s always been something applied.

Could be simply that one of the updates has reset prior logged range data and now starting over / relearning.

3.0 should be around the norm in UK with a 4S - i had that on mine as the average over 2 years 20K miles.

Yes - I have a 2020 Turbo and in the last few weeks, I've also seen a range approaching 280 miles with the remaining range after a journey also verifying the 280

A Turbo limousine, not opted fully, should be capable of that kind of range.
With CT off-road package unthinkable.

Battery SoH (state of health) could be lower, flying too low etc.

Key metric is consumption mi / kWh - and ideally since you've owned the car (Total Trip which has never been reset).

I've had the car for about 4 months now and its never really gone above 210 miles range showing on the dash (range mode at 100%)
SoH is apparently about 87%. using c14's app it shows that all the batteries are ok. I'm struggling to get my head around a car thats 2 years older than mine having better batteries.

I have asked the dealership if it was possible to "reset" things so that it re-learns based on my driving but apparently there doesnt seem to be a way. my mi/kwh on a careful drive is about 3-3.5 i think from memory.

AC and driving mode affect range also.

If you keep your AC at 18 celsius, wouldn't be surprised to see lower milage.

Mine stays at 21 most of summer, 22 most of winter; and i get 250miles in summer, driving in sport/custom sport mode 90% of the time.
