Random one: Has anyone heard of a Taycan being stolen?

I saw quite a few videos lately about luxury cars being stolen and I realized, I never read anything about stolen Taycans (or EVS) in general. This is an underrated benefit that insurance should take into consideration: Taycan are not stolen.

Haven’t heard of any, no. But that’s not anecdotal evidence!

As a related tidbit, the tracker reduced my insurance premium…by a whole £8.

Still cheaper than the Tesla Model 3 Performance to insure, go figure.

That’s because any thief would be too concerned about all the time spent in the shop on recalls and warranty work, plus the resale value is so low they can’t be given away. (Right?!?!?)

To my knowledge, the PVTS is always active but not every kind of insurance demands it (basic no, allrisk yes).
But then again, why wouldn't you want PVTS?

You can absolutely deactivate it in Switzerland, by cancelling the subscription or by not paying it

that was my point

I know because I had it, I forgot to pay it, and they deactivated it, and I never cared to reactivate the subscription

and it absolutely does not work right now, because I asked
