I am just about to come out of Porsche GB warranty on my Taycan. I have the option to extend with Porsche but I wondered if anyone has any awareness of third party specialists?
thanks James

In the US I haven't found a specialist shop that can work on the Taycan. We are married to the dealer for special tools & procedures. I'd extend the Porsche warranty.

Me too. I am going to extend it with the Porsche one. It’s more of an insurance policy really but I don’t want to own this car without a warranty

Just renew with Porsche - the warranty is gold plated and the Taycan is expensive to repair. In my view it's really not worth buying a third party warranty to save a few quid.

Even if you found an Indy shop with an army of Taycan qualified techs willing to work for free - that would do nothing for the steep replacement costs of the various parts that can only be OEM replacements.

Meta observation: so many questions on this theme lately as people grapple with a looming or already post warranty period.

The definitive advice is to go for an extended warranty and take the peace of mind.
