LMAO

They denied warranty because of an aftermarket charger in the boot of the car?

So anybody using a tesla charger loses their warranty?

Well, that's an easy lawsuit :D Can't wait to see porsche standing behind this stance in court :))

Not to mention that recalls are not part of the warranty. Recalls apply to out of warranty cars also.

The explanation has to be some new intern that dropped a wheel on his head one too many times.

My understanding of the complaint is that the installed onboard charger was aftermarket.
Who knows.

Don't think that's possible, or that any service shop would take that job. I highly doubt most services even can, and why would they not buy oem if they can?

Who knows, but I don't think it's about the 11/22 kw charger.

Porsche is only trying to make it easier for people who can’t understand technical terms. Dumb it down for the masses. What you show is not a charger.
The NTHSA Complaint is written by "the masses", as you call it.

I've said this before...do NOT sell your Porsche EVSE even though we all know it's suboptimal.

It is considered part of the car and should go in with your service visits, as they do recall replacements on it. And when you sell/trade it will be expected to be there.

What if you were dumb (rich) enough to install it at home in the over priced fancy housing thing? I don't think it needs to be in the car.

There is no aftermarket onboard charger for the Taycan. Not a thing. Does not exist. So definitely not.

Maybe the dealer forgot (or didn't know) a lot of us were reimbursed for a 3rd party 240V charger (EVSE) as part of APB6 ? The options were a service voucher or up to $600 cash for the purchase of a 3rd party 240V charger (EVSE). I got a Grizzl-E mini portable EVSE because of all the different NEMA adaptors it came with and a reimbursement check from Porsche.
