I just had my first service and credit where credit is due Porsche Guildford were great.
I could be niggly and complain about a dirty courtesy car but at least I had one. I can't say I'll be rushing out to buy a petrol Panamera anytime soon though. A big lag on acceleration (or maybe I've got too used to my Taycan) and, like many new cars, the anoying beep as soon as you inch over the speed limit. I suspect it could have been turned off somewhere but for the sake of a day I couldn't be bothered.
Anyway, back to the service. Unfortunately I had a slow puncture a day before the service and it turned out to be a nail so that was a new tyre to start with. Another was at 3mm so I decided to get that replaced too as they were both rear ones. I would have found them £100 cheaper each elsewhere but went with it to save the hassle and at least it's done properly. What did shock me though was the price for a wheek alignment at over £1,000. Since I've only done 14,000 miles I decided to skip that bit.
The did want to change brake fluid but that was done recently on the recall so I questioned that and that wasn't carried out.
The part I was most pleased about was they found out where the annoying rattle was coming from, which I just couldn't locate. It turns out it was in the rear light so they said they padded it out. Alls eems back to normal now.
There were a couple of warranty items and the most expensive of these would have een £2,639 plus VAT. Apparently the servo morot right front centre vertical had a fault. Not quite sure what it is but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it. I had no idea it was faulty even! Makes me wonder about an extended warranty.
All in all it wasn't as bad as I was expecting price wise and no charge for sill checks etc.
I was in and out so quickly I didn't even have time to wander around the new showroom, which looks lovely. I did nab a quick compliementary cereal bar though :)

Purchased my 2024 GTS from Porsche Guildford, absolutely cannot fault the buying experience. They were excellent from start to finish, so thumbs up from me for them too!

What did they charge for the full service, out of interest?

Exc VAT it was £393.61 for Inspection, Smart service, outer window cleaner and dust and pollen filter.
£25 environment charge. Two tyres were £765.12 and wiper blades (could have done them myself but was too lazy) £100.38.
When I booked it in over the phone I was quoted £875.16 so I'm pretty happy with what I paid but as mentioned didn't have the brake fluid or the aircon done which would have added £629.05

Cheers for the info!

£765 for tyres doesn't seem too bad, maybe slightly more expensive than sourcing elsewhere. What tyres were they - front or rear....and what did you go for, P Zero's?

We don't seem to have much choice for tyres with our cars, at least if you want to remain with the NF0 certified ones!

Definitely get a warranty!
In the last two years of ownership I’ve had one on board charger , one high voltage converter and one blocked fan which equates to about £17000 so far…
I was more than happy to renew my warranty last week at about £1300

Definitely get an extended warranty.

I've had numerous boot lid issues and now the heater has gone.

Good price for the service, although when on earth did 3 windscreen wipers cost £100+...

I bought a Cayman GTS from Porsche Guildford in 2016 for £56k. Kept it for 4 years, when it came to selling it they offered me £40k. I sold it to Harbour cars in Chichester for £51k.
My opinion of them as a dealer is therefore slightly different, these guys are all over you when you're buying/spending money with them. I was selling a car that was in demand at the time and a great spec, as documented many times here, be prepared for a shock when you come to sell.

Unless it's a GT3 or something, I suspect all of the main dealers have NFI in buying cars older than 3 years and with any mileage, hence the FO bid you got. Probably not even worth asking them unless you're PXing I guess.

I think you're right, maybe what I should say is expect to get shafted by all the dealers with resale .... let's hope the specialist begins to show an interest !

Get the wheel alignment done at any good tyre centre which has Hunter Engineering alignment equipment. Usually around £100 for all 4 corners unless the front camber needs adjusting which requires the front bumper to be removed.
I got my OPC to check mine for free after 1000 miles. It took the tech about 20 minutes including adjusting front and rear toe and rear camber.
