Another happy customer with the tune from prj.
2023 CT 4S 30kbmiles. The instalation took just a few minutes with the video. Very easy.
All I can say is holly shit. This car feels like a rocket now. What a difference. I wasn't measuring any numbers but you can instantly feel the difference.
Especially from 50 in Sport setting numbers just jump to 60,70,80...in a blink of an eye. Really happy.
Also, I asked to add some more regen. Took a few test drives and several tune downloads but prj dialed it perfectly for me now.
I wanted to get more regen for a slow traffic in the city up to 45 miles and it works great now, almost like my wifes Trsla. So now for slow city I have regular (boosted) regen, for the highway traffic I can use Auto if needed or switch off completely.
I know not everyone will like this but its a completely individual setting that prj can help to achieve.
PRJ is a great guy, awesome customer service. Thanks again for all your help with my tune and regen.

I have been following this thread with interest....

Is the MapEV a replacement control module and do i keep my old one? Also what's the latest warranty wise; is this completely untraceable? does it need to be swapped out for service etc?

Im tempted as i have a throttled GTS?

It's a brand new controller, nothing happens to your original one, you can just re-fit it at any time.
If you re-fit the original one before service, then as of now it's untraceable for Porsche.

If you don't re-fit the original one, it is traceable, but Porsche is not voiding warranty at this time for a modified ASG.

Both of these points can theoretically change in the future. The difference is that if you've had the modified ASG fitted during a warranty job then that info is recorded in the scan forever on the Porsche servers and could theoretically be reviewed retroactively, whereas if swapping to the original unit that would not be the case.

Either way, there have not been any cars ever that had their warranty coverage denied regardless if the control unit has been swapped or not (but we always recommend swapping it out to be extra safe), and the tuning has been available for a few years now.

You must also create a ticket either via direct e-mail or by using the order form on the website, can't order via forum ;)

Economy doesn't change at all.

We don't charge VAT on UK orders (for us that is export from EU), but you will have to pay customs fees on the controller price - for more details please open a ticket.

Regarding warranty and this is just my opinion and what I will do:
Enjoy the tune every day and when the appointment comes just remove it and put back the original one, reset the codes.
If going on a long trip just take the original one with you together with the tools. If something happens with the car and you will need to take it to Porsche right away you can easily swap it on the side of the road. Process is straight forward and will take just a few minutes.
Chance of that is minimal but in my case I can enjoy the feeling of a turbo in my 4S every day :)

I looked in the pcm, could not find a setting for “auto” regen. Only on and off.

Also found this.
Where exactly did you look? Most people miss the lower right corner setting, it is unintuitive on the J1.2.
And please don't use LLM's to do research, it's not good for these things - the LLM hallucinates and it linked you a J1.1 video.

Apologies if I missed it elsewhere (notably, this thread doesn't have the word "matrix" appear even once) - can this tune also turn on matrix headlight functionality for cars equipped with a matrix headlight who live in the US where the software is locked to perform as a standard high beam?

The powertrain controller has no idea that the car even has headlights, much less can it affect them in any way - hence the answer is no.
