What a disgrace. They should be falling over themselves to put it right and stick you in something nice immediately. It's this sort of customer service that's putting me off the brand rather than the problems ive actually had with my car.

You may well have gone this route, but when i received my new car and there was a problem, i went to the sales guy not the service centre to get it sorted. He got it straight into the garage and gave me a decent spec car to use in meantime. There should be at least some honeymoon period to avoid the long wait and no loan car cobblers.

good luck.
The sales guy knew the issue with the visual defect on the day it was delivered, and was made aware of the heater issue as soon as we noticed.

He is very nice and was helpful through the sales process but ultimately not altogether that helpful now that something has gone wrong.

I’ve had to call Tewkesbury today to try get an answer out of them relating to the bodywork as the heater is now fixed - and on it goes.

I’m all out of patience at this stage.

Sounds like an awful experience, not what any of us would hope to receive from a marque like Porsche.

Yep my thoughts exactly. BMW took way better care of me, even when things went very wrong.

Picking the car back up now with just the bodywork item to fix by all accounts. Radio silence from team Tewkesbury since my call earlier.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Sat at my local dealer now waiting to collect.

Hope you get it sorted - great cars when they work.

No excuse for any dealer - let alone a prestige one - not calling back a customer promptly, especially for a new customer with a defective from new car.

The dealers in the UK are the worst of any brand I have ever dealt with, when it comes to Taycan ownership.
Lack of trained technicians for the large amount of cars sold.

Even trying to get booked in with a loaner was awful from my experience.

Primary reason I sold it.

I have now heard back from Porsche GB and managed to get hold of someone responsive at Tewkesbury.

Progress is slowly being made. Porsche GBs response does make it seem like they are taking it very seriously.

I will keep you all posted!

Update:

I’m due to take the car in for the bodywork issue to be rectified. I have been assured this will be sorted whilst I wait, and if it cannot be then a car will be provided. Porsche GB have said they will intervene as needed to ensure a car is provided (hopefully not a 2.0T Macan this time).

I will provide an update in a couple of weeks once all boxed off.

That's not fair on Macan Ts - Porsche's lowest depreciating car. May not pull you out of bed in the morning but 100% reliable and comfortable.

For sure it was very comfortable, and I’d have no doubt been more amenable to it had I not just taken delivery of an immediately defective car :)
