Happy result, everything is being covered as it should be.

Yes. Today I learned they must be replaced together. They are changing both pads and rotors I assume?
Can you ask for the CPO detailed report from the dealer who did the CPO, and see if one of the inspection points which the dealer claimed they did says brake inspection. If so, have them pay to re-CPO the car by the dealer you trust, since obviously the CPO they sold you was faked. This would of course include the new brakes you had to pay for, possibly other items you don’t know about yet. That appears to be the case. Note where it was delivered.

The selling dealership, as a CPO, should have refurbed these brakes. Again I'm going to assume a good-faith mistake at this point, and hope they make things right.

Yep you were quite prescient! Since you were in the same boat, have you experienced any other issues with your tracked CPO car? Anything else I ought to have them check? So I was right all along
Same case for me, car was used for Porsche Trackdays. Yours do not look as bad as mine, but still the pads are cracked, and that's why it was making the noise. It's moving around there.
Great to hear that the dealer is taking care of you though.
I had a slight gearbox whine on my Turbo S that changes with speed (bearing going out), but I traded it in before it became a larger issue. It would have been covered by warranty though. Other than that and the OBC going out my car was solid.Yep you were quite prescient! Since you were in the same boat, have you experienced any other issues with your tracked CPO car? Yeah, this type of secret life:What a saga. It's as if you find out your wife had a secret life before she met you.
Lol. Exactly my thoughts, but my misplaced PC prevented me from posting this!Yeah, this type of secret life:

I can’t say this is good news, but hopefully this is one and done, and we’re good from here on out. What a saga. It's as if you find out your wife had a secret life before she met you.
Under 100. All Porsches have around 10-12 from the factory and it had 105 when it landed in Ontario. 115 when I rolled it out.@prj , do you think it takes special abuse to crack Porsche brakes in under 150miles of track use, or are Porsche cars not really built for track use? Fun commuter car and pretty garage decoration?
