I honestly wonder if the show organizers or gate keepers could even tell a Taycan Turbo from a Taycan 4S or even the base Taycan without rear badges.
Two things:
- if they can't tell it's a turbo, it's not a turbo
- these are probably last year's rules, still to be updated in the light of depreciation. I reckon the turbo fits in between "Cayennes and Macans" in the pecking order, with turbo S slightly nosing out in front of 911S.

Porsche really should have put an air scoop on the turbo.

I get what they are trying to do by the way, only show cars which are rare in the area, and this being Redmond/Bellevue/Seattle area, $100K cars are not considered rare.
Yes, the rules should say "admission for Taycans restricted to the first 200 turbo Ss; PTS turbos may be allowed on a case by case basis, space permitting."

Actually, I believe these rules were updated since last year, and I’m sure it has to do with the fact that there are just a lot more Taycans on the road than there were last year.
I also agree that it will get more restrictive and that PTS might become a distinguishing factor. I think it makes sense, and it allows the show to keep its “exotic “label. ?

I was just going for my customary shitpostongue-in-cheek commentary..

So German car day at Exotics at Redmond town Center is officially delayed until next Saturday, 8 June due to rain.

I plan to be in Corvallis on that day watching an ultimate frisbee tournament but hope some of you will enjoy the show ?

One year later… it’s German Car Day again this Saturday.

I did inquire about participating with my CT4 and was given the OK for this week.

Anyone else going? I’ll be in Porsche merch wear with my 11-yr old.

Double Darn!! I'm out of town at the same Ultimate Frisbee tournament in Corvallis as last year.

[Moved suggestion for a meetup to a new thread here]

Welcome!

Beautiful car. Our events are ad hoc and depend on someone organizing, but we had two last year and I'm up for more in 2026.

Happy New Year!

Hey, just curious, any PNW Taycan owners here run any radar and/or laser countermeasures (radar detectors, laser detectors/jammers)?

You bet I do.. lol :D It still works like a champ.. So big and blocky.. but it is a survivor. Never updated it either..
By now it’s very outdated, likely missing some warnings and/or falsing a lot on today’s cars’ BSM radars. Might be worth considering a Gen2.

Do you have thermal/noise insulated glass option?
