I've narrowed the dates down to possible 6 different days across 3 weekends in August. That is what the folks responding to me are suggesting work best. Current leaders are --

• 8/9 or 8/10 - 10 people
• 8/16 or 8/17 - 7 people
• 8/23 or 8/24 - 8 people

UPDATE LOCATION/DATES -- I've tentatively found a place in Redmond/Woodinville that hosts events such as this called Watts Brewing. They will let us show up around noon, and have parking for our cars.

They also will let me set up a Sunshade place outside, and they offer great beers, brats, pretzels, some wine and other food. You don't have to buy anything or course, but they are a smaller craft brewery that's trying to get their name out so if we buy some stuff it will be good for them.

The dates they have available are these -

• Saturday - 8/9
• Saturday - 8/16
• Sunday - 8/17
• Saturday - 8/23

Great! Glad to hear you can make it. I plan to choose the day on Wednesday this week so we have no trouble locking down the Watts Brewery location.

I'm out of town on the weekend of the Tri-Cities wine tour, but for anyone interested there is lots of good charging along the way, and a new 8 charger EA station in Kennewick so its fast and easy to re-charge before hitting the road back. If you choose to go though the apple and cherry orchards along the Vantage highway and the Columbia River you can stop in at the Wanapum Dam Interpretive center, or just keep going past the columnar basalt formations. Very interesting geography.

The Interstate 82 route also takes you past Benton City and the Terra Blanca vineyard which is super nice. In fact there are so many wineries that take advantage of the dry climate and ample water supply from the Yakima river that all of the wineries in the Woodinville-Redmond area tend to get their grapes from the Red Mountain region behind Benton City. Also, Yakima has a good charging location and lots of fruit trees so stop and buy the cherries.

On Wednesday 6/25 I will finalize the date for our meetup at the Watts Brewing Company by talking with the owner and finding out of the following days (from Noon - 3 or 4 pm) are still available. I'm listing the date in order of largest availability for attendance first --

1. Saturday 8/9 - 15 told me they are available to attend
2. Saturday 8/23 - 13 told me they are available to attend
3. Saturday 8/16 or Sunday 8/17 - 11 told me they are available to attend

Since we have ~40 people in the above list there are still folks who have not DM-ed me with their availability I ask that if you are one of those please get back to me before noon on Wednesday.

I think it's going to be amazing to see all these Taycans of different colors and styles in one spot, and hope you will join us.

  • NOTE - There is another event at 5:00 pm, so we do need to leave by 3:00 pm.
• LOCATION -- Watts Brewing (owner - Evan Watts)
  • 15510 Woodinville Redmond Rd NE
    Woodinville WA 98072
  • Website - https://wattsbrewingcompany.com/
• ACTIVITY -- This is a meet and greet event. I'll have some name tags for you.
• FOOD & DRINK -- The brewery has some awesome beer, hard cider, and wine, along with various lunch items (panini, brats, hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream, NA beer, sodas, etc.
  • FULL MENU -- https://wattsbrewingcompany.com/taproom-menu
  • NOTE -- While there is no fee for us to meet at Watts Brewing, it would be good for Evan and his business if we spent a few bucks while we were there. Totally up to you of course - no problem either way.

Watts Brewing doesn't have a big sign on the road, so I'm including some pictures here to help you recognize the location. I'm told there will be plenty of room near the brewery for all of our cars.

Watts Brewing hosted an event for PCA PNW recently (instagram post below)- it's the perfect place!

I personally am looking forward to this. I have been to recent events with plenty of Porsches but no Taycan except mine (and fielding questions of "how many cylinders..."). From yesterday's PCA PNW's event yesterday in Issaquah Burgermaster:

The correct answer is 1 for Taycan RWD, 2 for Taycan 4 and higher trims. Each electric motor is in a shape of a cylinder. Then you ask them to drag race for pink slips.
