There is really no need to do so as touchless car washes have under carriage spray that is enough to clean whatever you want to clean.

I have got one like that. It’s incredible the amount of dirt off the undercarriage… and all
The salt spread winter time… the car will just be happy…

I made a bad choice and went driving in the backroads the day after our last multi-day atmospheric river event, that also had pretty high winds. The roads picked up a lot of junk and so did my car... especially the wheel wells. I'm wondering how much is stuck under the car (I'm too old to want to get that low) and did a bit of researching to see what people do.

I also imagine this is important anywhere road salt is used.

The Taycan manual and my detailer says to stay away from any carwashes. The touchless I know of around here have guides/rails you drive onto... that seems like a horrible idea for the 21" 305s. I'll see what might be around for this as that is certainly a whole lot easier to use once every quarter or so for this purpose.

I had the same problem and used wheel brushes to scrub the cloth like material in the wheel wells to get the junk out.

I use these on wheels, wells, and under side skirts and spoilers.

I do all of that already. I'm wondering what's hanging out where I can't/unwilling to reach is all. For $30.00 that tool I linked seems like a pretty cheap and easy way to at least rinse it.

On a side note.. I just did a precursory check of the touchless options around me. Most of the touchless options aren't :\

There is a Rotten Robbie 20 minutes away that is touchless and has an undercarriage spray. Unfortunately to get that part of the service you have to buy one of the options where they add "clear coat protectant" :\

I think I'm going to go with that tool... just gotta check the PSI of my power washer (I don't use it for cleaning the car).

Edit: Just ordered the part. Will report back.

interested to see what you think of it. I have been looking at those for quote sometime, not really related to Taycan as I usually find peaceful at times to wash my car myself.

I do all things detailing related (polishing, coating, etc) on my cars. I also have an under carriage sprayer. I spray mine with water, rinseless wash or foam soap depending on the level and type of dirt involved. I get more benefit on our ICE vehicles but enjoy doing this service on the Taycan too.

Hello,
It comes with this protective wax spray applicator, but I can't really find the product since the manufacturer stopped making it. Any ideas?
