My only comment is that I was very concerned about having one in FL where I live. I ended up getting one and it's not been an issue in terms of heat. I would not care if I had a car without one as I don't ever see it as the driver. I like to additional light on darker days but not enough to pay for it if I had the choice.

I don't notice any abnormal heat from the glass roof and I live in San Diego. It's heavily tinted and UV protected. As others said it does add a spacious feel and my passengers always comment on it. From the drivers seat you don't get as much from it. I do like the look of a painted roof on light or brightly colored cars like frozen blue, mamba green, purple sky etc. On dark cars it doesn't really stand out where you can appreciate the extra splash of color as much.

Good:
let's in a lot of light
rear passengers will enjoy it
the black roof is a nice contrast on most bodycolors

Bad:
expensive to fix
adds weight where you don't want it (near the top), on a heavy EV maybe negligible.

I don't have a panoramic roof and don't miss it, in fact I like the 2 humps on the roof, they flow nicely with the creases in the hood.
I like the contrast-look of the black pano roof on white cars, so I wrapped my roof in gloss black.
Personally not a fan of pano roofs without built-in retractable shade, sometimes I like it dark :)

Same as above but I much prefer the external aesthetic of the Taycan without a panoramic roof. The lines flow better and it looks much sportier IMHO

Bad: extreme replacement cost if it gets chipped.

I had it chip on two Taycans, one bad enough that the roof needed replacement at 16k.

Apologies if I missed it, but I don't think anyone mentioned a major pro - you can't mount bike/ski racks on top of a metal hood. Only the glass (as far as I've been told).

I prefer the hard top simply because the car looks much sexier with it. Glass roofs scream luxury to me, but my car (esp being the facelift) has a sharper, sportier look, and I much prefer the body color hard top.

No Pano roof. Its lighter, looks better, keeps the body color consistent.
In a hot climate region, the glass roof was a nuisance for me.
