I’m curious how all you experienced taycan drivers programmed your 🔹buttons. I allocated one for ‘lift’ considering the many speedbumps we have around.
what do you consider valuable?

Turn off the speed warning gong. In the UK, since July 2024, all cars must have an audible speed limit warning after every start, very annoying.

J1.2 here so a bit different since we have skip track instead of regen in place already.

Steering wheel: Previous Track
Console: Parking Cameras

J1.2 so I have skip track already.
Steering wheel: sport sound on/off (useful when approaching a cyclist or driving through a pedestrian-rich area)
Console: turn off the mandatory speed bong

In EU we have the speed warning on J1.2, so one button is for that, I have it on steering wheel, since you have to press it every single time you start the car. Even all the dealer loaners (ICE and EV) have that button bound to it. The function is extremely poor, it very often shows completely the wrong speed limit and bongs at you with no remorse.

And then the button on the dash I have for the surround view/parking.

Wheel: Surround View Cameras
Driver Cluster: Home Link (Open Garage)
No need for Lift as others said, since there is a dedicated Lift button on the Driver Cluster

Homelink is location aware and stores GPS coordinates such that when set the option to open / close the garage door pops up automatically on the PCM - frees up the Joker button for something else.

Joker button for Sports Sound on dash (only used in underground parking structures). and 360 park assist on the wheel.
