Did you get the red circle at low SoC?
Cuz that's where the voltage difference really shows.

I suspect they used "new" modules without checking the SoH of the other ones, hence the voltage difference at low SoC...
On the contrary.
Battery charged 85%, cable removed, and the next morning, red circle.

After a long pause, due to working on several softwares, one for my company and another for ECU tuning https://romhex14.com/ I'm back to this project

Welcome, STEUER14

A completely re-written version of tCAN-Pro in QT C++ still FREE and now multiplatform macOS, Windows, and Linux.

There will be support for Taycan (9J1), 992, Panamera, Cayenne... Those models which support ENET and J2534 (subject to limitations by Security Access in new models 2024/2025/2026).

For Taycan several functions coming apart from battery diagnosis, including air suspension ride height change, PCM updates, and several codings such as Matrix, etc.

Stay tuned for release soon!

Native mac support is indeed wonderful news.

Best news is this however:
For Taycan several functions coming apart from battery diagnosis, including air suspension ride height change, PCM updates, and several codings such as Matrix, etc.

I thought I had a powerful PC Windows workstation with 128GB RAM DDR5, AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, NVIDIA 5090......

Then I bought an M5 Max MacBook Pro and found out it compiles all of my QT C++ projects about 40% faster than the Windows workstation.

Makes it seem like a joke.

Apple's laptop CPU destroys Intel/AMD's best desktop CPU... No words for it....

Apple has eclipsed the Windows world due to their incredibly inflexible and locked down system - it's an example of how totalitarians can get sh!t done where democracies fail! I've been a Mac user since Apple II... but I do accept that the "creative" system is actually the most restrictive.

I'm very curious about the Matrix and other options. My car needs PIWIS 4 (it's a '24) do you have a work around planned? I'd seriously pay money to be able to code:
Matrix
Rear Cross Traffic
Active Lane Keeping

Eclipsed in what way? Do you believe there are more Macs in the world than Windows desktops? Or are you using some other metric?

Market cap, consumer adoption. For example: windows phones? Windows car operating systems, etc. Apples market cap is greater than Microsoft’s, and that trend is increasing.

There are still way more Windows PCs than Macs. Comparing Windows desktops to Apple phones is comparing apples and oranges. If we just compare market cap, both Nvidia and Alphabet/Google eclipsed Apple, so by your logic they must have better designed products than Apple?

If your comment was only that Apple phones eclipsed Windows phones, then absolutely, you are correct - you can blame Ballmer for that.

- it's an example of how totalitarians can get sh!t done where democracies fail!
You are not wrong there. The caveat to the above however is the totalitarian business is only as good as its dictator. Musk, Jobs, Gates, are all great examples. Unfortunately in business this dictatorship seems only possible with founders. Tim Cook had nowhere the power of Steve Jobs. No CEO after Gates could do what Bill could do. A good example would how Steve Jobs could send teams back to the drawing board, delaying a product launch until it was "just right", not giving a shit about missing the holiday season sales opportunity. If Tim Cook attempted such a stunt, the board of directors would have retired him in a hurry.

A good dictator in a business cuts through red tape, provides clear vision and direction, which avoids the time wasted "driving consensus" and the inevitable compromises that come with it. The dictator can also take risks no underling would ever dare. The dictator doesn't have to be right 100% of the time either, 70% right and willing to correct quickly still give the company tremendous advantage. A bad or crazy dictator however will sink a company in no time - perhaps why we don't hear of those much, their businesses never grow big enough to make the news.

As for democratic consensus, I am reminded of an open source window manager project where contributors wanted to decide whether to place the "X" close-app icon in the top left of the windows (like MacOS) or on the top right (like Windows). The result came back something like 60% for the right, 40% for the left. Someone then suggested that the only fair thing would be to place it 10% to the right of the center, so that everyone's opinion was included in the decision. :CWL:

How about in the fact that Apple's flagship laptop CPU (M5 Max), with limited power from a battery.... DESTROYS by more than 30% Intel's and AMD's latest desktop flagship chips with UNLIMITED power...

For me that's the deal breaker.
