Couldn't find opinions on the forum re this, it seems all about PS4.

The CrossClimate2 has tons of 5 star reviews on Discount Tire site and, as I am not an aggressive driver and have the base model, the CC2 caught my eye. But I know Discount Tire doesnt know what car I am driving, they are just focused on tire reviews.

Anyone have that product that can vouch for it? For me, tire longevity is a key criteria, more than performance.

Personally I would either get the Falken Azenis or the Goodyear Eagle F1 All season. Less long lasting, but cheaper. And will be better than the Crosscclimate 2 in everything but snow. Remember on a staggered set up, the mileage warranty at the rear is usually cut in half.

The two big players out here are Discount Tire and PepBoys and neither are suggesting those tires for my car...of course that doesnt mean they don't sell them. They are recommending Continental and Michelin.

Just changed tires from factory Pirelli Scorpions on my 2022 GTS to Eagle F1A All Seasons - ride just as well and considerably cheaper. Don’t know how they’ll wear but I am pleased with the ride.

Do you all think the Tire Rack ratings for "Noise" in the Comfort category have any quantitative meaning? I read that is subjective to the driver during testing. But does a tire with a rating of 8 vs a rating of 6 mean anything except 8 is more quiet? When comparing tires, should I assume anything in the 8 range is equivalent? I guess I'm asking since I have 21" Goodyear F1 Asym 5, and the road noise at residential speeds is noticeable (doesn't help that the surface of the roads here in the Seattle area also are poor).

I also live in CA and replaced CC2 on Tesla MY after seeing so many great reviews. I thought it will be nice during occasional ski trips. The CC2 absolutely killed the range on MY, I had to stop more often to charge, made my road trip less enjoyable. CC2 performed really well during early rain season this year. I wouldn't buy it again because living in So Cal and what's great about this tires are useless majority of the year.

I have Cross Climate II's on my Cayenne and love them.
They are quiet and very effective in upstate NY winters.
I routinely do 500 mile round trips in a day, and the CC2's make it a quiet comfortable trip.
I think of them as a good pair of running shoes.

It's hard to say because it's combination of battery degradation, tires replacement and wife's driving style.
MY EPA driving range is 330 but actual range was around 250 when new. This car is 30 months old now, actual driving range is under 200. OEM tires were Pirelli Scorpion, I don't drive it often, but I immediately feel the CC2 is more grippy.
I will highly recommend CC2 if you live in raining and light snowy areas and drives a ICE. Overall, the positive reviews on CC2 are accurate, but I didn't know it impacts my range that much.

I’m in San Diego and went with the Continental Sport Contact 7s. Been happy with them for 1k miles. I had put 20k on the procontact‘s before, and they were getting close to needing to be replaced…and then one developed a slow leak. So that sped up my decision making process. Still, took discount tire a week to get the right tires down here.

@cbaray did you get your tires aligned? Where did you go? I usually purchase from Discount Tire here in San Diego but they don't do alignments on Porsche. TIA
