Is this the road that was featured recently in the official Porsche magazine? Because that was outstanding.
Yes it was. Plenty of great vistas to look at throughout the journey. Hard to concentrate on driving ;)

I’m jelly! The article did a great job selling the route and I’m a sucker for road trips. About to do a 16-hr next week!

This past Friday May 22, after driving up the Mt Washington summit road and just before hiking down along the rim of Great Gulf for some ~800' vert ski/hike laps in Airplane Gully:

Following day, couldn’t resist this picture of the parking lot at MIT, where my daughter was competing in the state high school singles tennis tournament:

Hope I won’t get in too much trouble by adding a few tennis pics!
Definitely some Proud Dad moments since I competed on those courts when playing for a rival college team in the late 1980s then played on them in the mid and late 1990s when coaching what was then the NCAA varsity alpine ski team at MIT.
After my own hiatus from tennis for two decades my daughter started playing tennis last year in 9th grade so now I’m unexpectedly back into the sport!

Yesterday (Tuesday) at Killington VT.
The last day of lift operations had been the prior day (Memorial Day).
Still laps of ~1150’ vert on this first “post-season” day but required some grass skiing for continuity and about to become severely fractured in many places.

Impressed that you are able to stretch the skiing-season, like you do. Kudos!

Mt Washington NH Wednesday afternoon.

Still some great skiing then and also yesterday morning but about to become all disconnected.

Which is typical for this time of year.
Atypical is parking next to the thin patches seen here, leftovers from half of foot of new snow that fell the prior Friday night.

Wow - how long is the ski season in your area ? It didn't even last 3 months here in Northern California.

Depends how you define both "ski" and "season" ...
... for lift-served skiing, Killington usually opens in late October, sometimes Sunday River also, but that's just WROD (White Ribbon of Death) until around Thanksgiving, when most major resorts open, albeit with limited terrain.
Lots of options for extensive lift-served into around mid-April, after which only a few resorts persist, then Killington usually makes it to Memorial Day weekend with a single trail, but with a high-speed sixpack serving up 1200' vert of steep moguls in under four minutes, nobody ends up wanting more.

For "earned" turns in the backcountry, late October usually offers a day or two for ~4" of fluff on top of a grassy base at northern ski resorts (definitely need to pick your trails wisely and keep your speed modest), after which consistently available -- and enjoyable -- backcountry skiing is highly unpredictable at pretty much any point in the season.
The end though is predictable: late May to early June on Mt Washington for ~500' to ~1000' steep laps in alpine couloirs. And fortunately no approach since can DT3 (Drive To The Top) now starting as early as mid April (thanks in part to the road being entirely paved, plus probably better techniques for clearing the ice from the culverts).
