How the hell do you hang onto your driving license??? Driving this thing at the speed limit feels like a form of torture! And I only got the base model…
Yep, all Porsches are like this. Get yourself a Valentine One!

Oddly, I tear ass around where I live and on the freeway, not crazy fast, but definitely and significantly over the posted speed limits. Most I've ever received from the local PD and CHP is a hearty thumbs up! Fingers crossed though...

If my memory serves me right, they take speeding pretty seriously in Switzerland. I am heading there next week!

Yeah, I touched 95 on a highway onramp today and I've only had the car for 3 days.

Cruise control helps with the torture. Without it, I find myself gaining speed on every downhill and never giving it back.

Lucky you. This would end badly in Switzerland. The cops don’t smile much!

Yep. Do 70 in a 50 zone and your license is gone for 3 months…

This. Advantage is when ripping around in an urban environment the car doesn't make much noise. Less negative attention especially by Johnny Law. ?

Not sure radar detectors are legal in CH?
They are definitely very illegal here in Ireland. Even switched off can get you fined. The reason in law is that they have the potential to interfere with a police officer's ability to carry out their duties.

Therefore, apps such as Waze showing locations of speed checks are legal here – unlike in France.
