I was just going to ask about this 1300amps as well.
I've confirmed it's all software related
How did you confirm it is software only? It could require changing out battery pyro fuse for example - similar to how Tesla sold the Ludicrous upgrade for P85D, where battery had to come out, new fuse had to be installed, then software limits were changed. Just changing the software on a P85D would probably blow the non-resettable pyro fuse on your first 100% SoC launch.

I am not sure that one is timed right. I mean it shows valid on the dragy but we've never had any other 4s hit 10 seconds.

BTW keep in mind if you are driving 30-45 in the city then consider stock quartermile to be over 12 seconds as you can't use launch control.
Just wanted to follow up on this. Took my 2024 4S tuned to the drag strip tonight. 21” RS spyder wheels.

10.99 @ 128 mph. 96% charge and 80 degrees out. Very happy. Raced and Ioniq 5N. He did 11.1 at 121 mph.

Wondering if they gimped the power of the Turbo GT from the factory so they can sell their kit with “full power”.
Note "while driving"...
They just upped the power in attack mode and base power. The LC power remains the same 860kW afaik.

For sure. Looks like my numbers are almost identical to a J1.1 turbo, but the trap speed means neither the turbo nor turbo S would want to race without launch control.

I ran 2 more runs, both 11.0. Highest trap speed was 129.

What is a trap speed?
The speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. Usually it lines directly up with how much horsepower a car makes and is an indicator of how fast it will be in a rolling race.

For example- the Ioniq 5N I raced was only 2/10th slower but going 8 mph slower by the 1/4 mile.

He launched harder and beat me to 60, but above 100 mph I was significantly faster.

His trap speed and mine were both 101 mph at the 1/8th mile mark. But by the 1/4 mile I was doing 128-129 vs him at 120.
