  1. -4 and the heater kaput… wish me luck

I also find it incredible. First that AA did do that (and still thinks it’s fine) and secondly that Porsche UK washed their hands off by passing it to their provider. My claim was raised with Porsche but they could not wait to fob it off to their assistance provider…
  2. -4 and the heater kaput… wish me luck

After many weeks of waiting, AA agreed to pay for the damages that my Porsche dealer has now fixed, and they offered me £100 for the "inconvenience". They told me that was fine for them to drive the car for 1300kms because it says in their terms and conditions they can choose whatever mode of...
  3. Location! Location! Location! Post Artistic Photos of Your Taycan with Scenery

I think you are right. All the other factors are going to skew the numbers more
  4. Location! Location! Location! Post Artistic Photos of Your Taycan with Scenery

It’s a shame you didn’t make your joke. I would have responded that most of my mileage is going in reverse :-)
  5. Location! Location! Location! Post Artistic Photos of Your Taycan with Scenery

Thank you for spotting and bringing this up. well, that’s now embarrassing. I was so proud of my diy wheel change. I triple checked that tyres are not directional , but could not think the wheels would be. Good news the rears are the right way round. I will take this as an opportunity to...

Just looked out of the window and couldn’t resist taking a picture…?

  9. [Updated] My Porsche App updated w/ new interface and functions

Reading through this thread, my fear of missing out subsided greatly (my free subscription ended almost a year ago, and I chose not to pay £270/year for "this") - looks like I am only missing out on a lot of head ache :-)
  10. New taycan Rwd vs 2021 turbo taycan

I think one important consideration for mileage is not necessarily the wear and tear but the balance of battery warranty. If the car has 30k miles on the clock, it’s 1/3 of warranty “life” gone
  11. Taycan Turbo 2021 - Fire Quarantine

Am I the only one finding this at best worrying, and worst ridiculous that the alleged car professionals can't tell what they do and why?.. As if EVs with their "simplicity and low maintenance" are not bashed enough, how can I own the asset that is essentially a black box and some computer from...
  12. Color of car in surround view

I am not too fussed but this white car is very “unluxurious”
  13. Should I powder coat my wheels?

But then I also liked how it looked with more contrasting Turbo wheels, too! Decisions, decisions…
  14. Should I powder coat my wheels?

I think there’s something in “all black” vision. Here’s mine, initially i thought it was too grey with these wheels but it grew on me later - I see this as a feature now :-)
  15. Porsche PCM Navigation without Porsche Connect Service or Google Maps? Which would you choose?

I wonder if they are integrated on the app level, would not the My Porsche app need active connect subscription - my app shows me nothing and only begs for money for the subscription.
  16. Some images of MY 2025 Cross Turismo 4 in Oak Green

does the 2025 still have the same silly contraption for the wireless phone charging that melts your phone and it takes about four hours to get your phone in and out?
  17. PSCB Brake discs / rotors cracked

I doubt the Porsche approved would have helped here, too: more than likely they will tell it is a consumable, wear&tear, and not a warranty case...
  18. Post your most absurd consumption readings...

I thought I was the only one enjoying these silly numbers :-)
  19. NHTSA complaint: 2022 Taycan Turbo fire on March 26, 2023

I like how he underlined that it was due for repairs (again) even when the thing burnt to ashes...
