Yes you can. It will run Android Auto or Apple CarPlay from your phone. Bought mine in the UK - but was lucky as someone was selling their unused one on eBay.

Yes works ok for me. Although I use CarPlay for navigation which obviously uses the iPhone GPS instead.

Will post pictures tomorrow - but basically it just plugs into the USB-C port and connects via wired CarPlay. It boots automatically when starting the car up - takes about 30 secs or so. I just store it in the phone holder inside the armrest compartment. Has built in GPS and micro sim slot too...

FitcamX has WiFi which you connect to - but it’s local to the car. Cannot view remotely.

Scratch that - it use a different sensor so it is true 4K. Made the same error myself!

Not sure it makes any difference. If they both use the same Sony IMX 335 CMOS sensor which is 5MP then you don’t get true 4K anyway as it needs to be at least 8MP.

Received my FitcamX in 3 days from China via DHL - import charges already paid within price. Fitted in 30 mins. Connector fits into the existing rain sensor connector. Looks completely OEM.

I've done the same and ordered. Will be here on Tuesday. Returning the OE-Witness camera as again would prefer to not wire to the fuse box.
