Setting up charging to 85% for novice

Thanks. Indeed it was. Charger (PodPoint) was flashing red. Contacted them and a software update was sent through which has resolved the issue. Thanks all.

Setting up charging to 85% for novice

Still got issues with charging. This used to be working ok but now for the last few weeks has stopped again. Have a profile set up to do preferred charging between 00:30 to 04:30 (for low energy prices) and a timer set to depart at 04:30 with a target of 85%. The problem is that if the car is...

Do you have all the buttons on the app?

Just had confirmation from Porsche UK that all MY21 software features will be applied via an update to MY20 vehicles - timeframe though is unknown.

Brakedust with standard vs PSCB brakes

I have standard brakes and almost zero brake dust - almost all of the braking goes to regen - so pads are rarely used (hence the wheels stay clean)

Do you have all the buttons on the app?

Isn’t it more likely to be because MY21 cars have the latest software updates (inc wireless CarPlay etc) and these haven’t yet been applied to older MY20 cars?

Has anybody tried CarPlay2 Air adapter for wireless CarPlay?

Yes - very irritating. Just been loaned a new Macan while my Taycan gets some rattles fixed. Wireless CarPlay works seamlessly on there and the whole PCM is miles better than on the Taycan.

‘PORSCHE’ Logo LED Door Courtesy Lights

Yes this is what I was told by Porsche Reading too. The wrong part number is listed for the Taycan. What doesn’t make sense though is the part number is as above and seems to fit. Confused as well.

‘PORSCHE’ Logo LED Door Courtesy Lights

Do you know the part number? I’m being told by Porsche UK that the catalogue is wrong and that the lights with part number 9Y0044910 don’t fit the Taycan.

Did anyone try to retrofit this yet? If so is there a list of part numbers?

How do you know if this update has been applied? Does the version number change in the PCM?

Does anyone else with full PPF have a seam like this?

It offers a higher level of protection vs PPF which is typically between 100-250 microns. ClarityCoat in this example: “Sprayable Paint Protection is a revolutionary removable Solution – an alternative to PPF (Paint Protection Film). It provides superior stone chip protection and an...

Does anyone else with full PPF have a seam like this?

Yes that’s one of the problems. Only a few in the UK.

Does anyone else with full PPF have a seam like this?

This is the advantage of a PPS wrap. There are no seams at all to be seen and offers the same if not better level of protection.

    CarPlay wifi ?

Anyone had any update from Porsche about if/when wireless CarPlay will be coming via a software update? My guess is never (despite it being promised) - but live in hope.

    DOLOMITE SILVER Taycan Club

For me the ride on the 21s is fine - not harsh or crashy at all. Never tried the 20s - so nothing really to compare it to.

    Taycan Crap Nav

Within the 28 days definitely helps. Just spoke to mine. Wasn’t so forthcoming. Offered to buy it back with about a 10% reduction on list - although haven’t pushed it too hard at this point.
