Isn’t it more likely to be because MY21 cars have the latest software updates (inc wireless CarPlay etc) and these haven’t yet been applied to older MY20 cars?
Yes - very irritating. Just been loaned a new Macan while my Taycan gets some rattles fixed. Wireless CarPlay works seamlessly on there and the whole PCM is miles better than on the Taycan.
Yes this is what I was told by Porsche Reading too. The wrong part number is listed for the Taycan. What doesn’t make sense though is the part number is as above and seems to fit. Confused as well.
Do you know the part number? I’m being told by Porsche UK that the catalogue is wrong and that the lights with part number 9Y0044910 don’t fit the Taycan.

Anyone had any update from Porsche about if/when wireless CarPlay will be coming via a software update? My guess is never (despite it being promised) - but live in hope.
Within the 28 days definitely helps. Just spoke to mine. Wasn’t so forthcoming. Offered to buy it back with about a 10% reduction on list - although haven’t pushed it too hard at this point.
