@MrJack did you need to wire to the fuse box or did the adapter fit one of the connectors in the rear mirror housing?

I'm going to fit it myself. Already removed the rear view mirror casing - which was the hardest part. The rest should be easy. Will take some photos when I do it (hopefully tomorrow).

Just received the official WMA5 update letter from Porsche GB

Just had confirmation from Porsche head office that the software update for MY20 cars to bring in line with MY21 will be available in the next few days from dealers.

Has someone in Porsche confirmed the update is coming in week 12 for MY20?

That’s why it doesn’t work. The output from the device is from the USB-C port.

Are you using a USB-C to C cable? It will only work with supplied USB-C to A cable along with a USB-A to C adapter.

Use a CPLAY2Air or Carlinkit adapter (they are both made by the same company). Update it with the latest firmware which supports USB-C. The one I’m using is https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089W5Q6S1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_dlC_SVLVFbQP9AJ9C
